Super comfortable!! And the audio is great, it's definitely a big difference between these and cheaper sets. Also, the charger is such a great stand, it has been able to withstand my stubborn cat who loves to knock stuff over the edge.

A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. You really do get what you pay for. The gaming acoustics are top notch..... you can hear the softest of footsteps, getting the advantage on other players in-game. The game chat is clear, which is a must. The headset itself is well made, comfortable out of the box. I did spend the money on the upgraded cushions, but it was a preference. Overall, nice fitting headset. I hope this helps. - P

The sound quality is great but there are a few things I don’t like that my cheaper turtle beach stealth 700s series 2 did better. The major thing is you can not wear these A50s and charge them simultaneously. They will only charge on the base. Also the base using micro usb instead of usb C in 2021 seemed odd to me but not a big deal. My other main issue is the game volume and chat volume blend/balance is a button on the side that you push on either direction to turn the volume higher to either game or chat as opposed to each having its own dedicated wheel where you can adjust the volume independently like the 700s. So for the amount of money spent I’m still deciding if I think they’re better. But if you’re like an audiophile and really care about sound quality you’d for sure like these more

Save some money, buy the A40s

As hard as I tried I couldn't give the A50s more than 2 stars. I had my A40s for nearly 7 years, absolutely loved them, wanted to go wireless, and for another 7 years of use the price tag would have been worth it. Things started out great: they're extremely comfortable and I thought the sound quality was excellent. That's where the pros stop and the cons begin. Finding the correct balance between game and chat volume is nearly impossible. It's not easy to just place the headset on the base to charge, but it's not the end of the world. The BIGGEST problem, however, is that the microphone is an absolutely massive steaming pile of garbage. I joined an Xbox Live Party and every one of my friends said it sounded like I was talking using a tin can + string phone. My friend (who also had A40s for 7 years and bought A50s with me) also sounded the same way to me. When playing games, my voice came through so quietly (even with the mic level all the way up and my party chat volume for my friends all the way up) they could barely hear me over the game sounds. I plugged it into my computer, made a phone call, and the sound was crisp and clean on both ends. If you're using this for the computer or solo Xbox gaming: go for it. If you're using this for Xbox multiplayer gaming: STAY FAR AWAY! Save the money, deal with the cord, and buy some A40s (it's what I did eventually). Also, ASTRO support is awful. There's no customer service number to call. They have you write them an email and then they never respond to it. This headset sucked so much that I took the time to re-write this review after I accidentally deleted the first one.

Average without mixamp, probably great with it.

It’s alright if you don’t have the mix amp to go with it. I don’t know if I had gotten a defective one or not but the volume was just too low to really be effective in any competitive game like R6. I ended up returning the A50s. However I picked up the A40 with the mix amp included for a bit less than the standalone A50s I believe and they work wonderfully. Don’t get me wrong A50s are great. Great cushions and I could tell that the sound quality was decent for sure but just wasn’t quite loud enough without the mix amp to help out which was sadly a deal breaker for me as I game pretty seriously. Still maybe try them out and return them if you don’t like them within 14 days for a full refund

I gave these headphones to my 25 year old grandson as a gift. He said he had read great reviews about these headphones in the past. However, he said the sound quality and comfort far surpass what he was expecting. He is a big gamer and wears the headphones for long periods of time. Setup was a breeze. The headphones also have the capability to receive phone calls, which is a nice feature. The only downside is they are somewhat pricey

The balance of game and voice volume can be tricky sometimes. The padding along the top of the headset is removable, so it pops out sometimes, which is annoying. Sound quality is fantastic and is quite comfortable otherwise.

I’ve had these for a year now and had a couple of kinks with it. Sometimes it doesn’t completely connect to my PC or Xbox. Others have said that my mic sometimes sounds choppy when talking. The audio quality is amazing! The comfort is great for me.

These headphones have great sound quality and excellent battery life. Love the docking station as well. They come with foam ear cups that can get hot, but you can order leather replacements that snap right in magnetically.

I previously had the Astro A40's. Sound quality is better on the A50's. The a40 had a slight delay in the sound compared to what was coming out of my TV. The A50's are at the exact same time. The only negative aspect I have with the A50's is that I cannot adjust the game/chat volume on the fly, you have to enter the Astro Command Center via an app on the xbox. But other than that I love the wireless feature and would not go back to the a40's!

Great head phones I'm on my second pair now after having my first ones for a few years. The sound quality is really good on them but you can find some that are better sounding. Battery life on them is pretty good. The mic is one of the draw backs though as it does wear out and starts to sag really bad and won't stay up. But over-all great set of headphones.

I been wanting to grab a wireless headset for a while. This one is beyond worth it. I have played games from Modern Warfare to Final Fantasy 14 to The Witcher 3 and the sounds are amazing. Music and movies a'rent to bad either. Astro has always been a go to for me but never have I used their wireless products. The comfort and amazing sound go hand in hand with each other. Looking for a good all around for Xbox and PC the this is definitely the best choice!
