The Astro A50 Is Out Of This World.! The Sound Quality Is Very Realistic, It's Like He's Literally In The Game.! My Man Loves It.! The Base Station Is A Plus.! &&It's So Convenient That It's Wireless, He's Gonna Start Takinq It EVERYWHERE We Travel.! I Got Him Hooked.!

The build quality of the head phones is great, however, there’s one specific issue with a big batch of these. There’s either a buzzing noise or a high pitched noise that rings in the left headphone whenever you turn the unit on. Apparently it isn’t in each set of headphones but a majority of them. It may not bother some people but it was unbearable to me. Returned them and then bought the Gen 5, and no issue so far.

Worth the price. Its a good headset in general. The Dolby sounds is amazing, feels like youre in a cinema when watching a movie on the console. Great for gaming aswell, they can get a little to loud if playing with a party, but im sure theres a way to fix that on the settings. Only thing I wished it was added is a designated volume for voice chat and game. There a lot of ways to customize it they way you want. Comes in a good box worth of the price. Can be a pain to be connecting the whole set to a computer everytime you want to update the settings everytime, but the default options are good. Battery last a good amount of hours for long sessions of playing and the base tells you how mich battery you have left. The sensor to turn off when you take them off, doesnt always work but is good to have. A Great Headset in general. Highly recommend.

Well it’s good definitely, love the mic , the features it has like Dolby audio , the charging stand , and the good quality. One thing that really brings it down is the low ringing on the left ear piece. I’ve searched it up and it looks like a lot of people are/have experienced the same thing. I still experience it till this day. It still bugs me but I get used to it when I play for a while.

Pretty comfortable headset - after a while the top can become uncomfortable, but that goes for any headset. Great sound quality and is easy to adjust with side button controls. I really like that I can download certain presets when connected to my computer.

Great sound and easy to wear would reccomend for extended gaming sessions

Bought these because couldn’t hear people sneaking up on me on my senheiser like that you can modify the sound settings on my pc definitely takes some strain off my ears during loud situations ,definitely expensive also have some syncing issues with the games sometimes only hear chat and no game audio have to unplug and re-sync to often.One more thing I have a problem with top of it comes apart all the time and won’t stay snapped together and will dig into your skull,very annoying.

Very comfortable, very good sound quality. Only drawback is no quick mute options and the game/chat blend is finicky.

I bought these fully expecting them to be top notch. I was replacing my RIG 800HX set I've had for a few yrs. Those were comfortable but sometikes would have issues. I wanted more consistency. For $290 I was expecting that. Out of the box they felt well crafted and sturdy. I immediately noticed the lack of directions. I assume they felt confident that the user would figure it out. I was surprised to see how the headst sat in the base. They didn't immediately seat correctly so they required a jostle to get them in just right. Not a fan of that. Not for $290. Then theres the app that doesnt exist/work to support it. Theres no way to adjust game/chat volume independently. It also doesn't support Blutooth so you can't connect it to multiple devices like ofher models in that price range. When I got it connected, initially, it had a slight ringing/buzzing sound that you could clearly hear when not talking/playing a game. After I turned it off to charge, when i went to turn on my Xbox later in the night, the headset didn't connect to the Xbox. I had to disconnect/reconnect the MINI USB charging cable. Then it would connect, but still had the buzz. The only other positive is that they were comfortable the remaing time i used them that night. I packed them up the next day, and returned them. I know my experience probably isn't typical, and maybe I got a lemon, but there were more things that weren't software related, that were impossible for me to get by. Mainly, the fact that they're close to $300 and were so bad for me. I bought the TB Stealth Pro. Those are the complete opposite of these. They set the standard for a headset $250+. Ill close by saying DO NOT BUT THESE. Buy any other headset from this price point.

I loved these when I was just using my PS4 to game. There were some firmware/hardware issues with connectivity when using them with the PC. the software interface to adjust levels and preload sound profiles were super nice, but updating firmware was difficult

Great headset. The first one I purchased that didn’t disappoint! Every now and then they have a issue disconnecting but just unplug and usb and plug back in and boom ready to game and you can hear EVERYTHING!

Yes, it probably is overpriced. You can definitely get headphones with better audio quality for cheaper. That being said, I still went with the A50s for a few reasons. 1: wireless charging. My setup has a certain aesthetic and I didn't want to deal with a cable to charge my headphones. I wanted a headset I could just set on a charging dock. 2: Comfort. I have a relatively large head and the clamping force of astro headsets are perfect for my headsize. I could wear these all day without any pain. 3: Ear cup size. The astros have some of the largest ear cups where my ear can fit within the headset without the headset touching my ear at all. This is also an important factor for me. Great headset. There are better for the price maybe, but not with everything I want / need. Note: I am not an audiophile. But sound quality passes my very low bar of what is "good". Sounds great to me!

Comfortable , Sounds good , product isn't bad but the support on Astro's end for these headphones especially at the price point they are sold is 1 out of 10. Astro command center doesn't recognize or have any settings for these , so you have to third party for equalizer settings and profiles.

Very clear mic, awesome sound and never had a disconnection. The sound got a little off when in xbox party chat

It is expensive I will say that but this has been the best Astro I’ve own so far! Feels comfortable and loud, I can hear everything.

You like gaming? Okay then try these, they're amazing! Very comfortable, out the box sound is okay but once you use Astros software and adjust the sound to your liking it's going to be a blast. Can't wait to see what Astro offer's next!

Amazing headphones. I brought the steel series arctis pro prior to these and they didn’t fit my head right. These Astro a50 are alot better sounding and better fit. Best headphones I’ve ever owned so far.

Q50 carries really good sound quality,long distance correction and battery.l
