Nice comfortable headset. I use it for hrs and charge it at night.

Very comfortable and pretty good sound quality. The unit would make a really loud crackle noise randomly as others have commented. It cause some ear discomfort while gaming extended periods of time.

Got these bad boys back in February for PS5 Took a while to set up and didn’t know I needed an adapter witch is a separate purchase. But once everything was said and done, I can’t play with nothing else. Need an upgraded version tho because these are outdated but work excellent if set up properly.

Astros were pretty comfortable. The steel series 9x i traded them for is a $100 less is more comfortable does not sound any better or worse than the astros that i returned. just as much of an advantage in games like halo and call of duty can clearly tell which direction sounds are coming from…. For me i would recommend the steel series… only thing i preferred with the astro was the equalizer. I cant seem to find how to mess with mic monitering setting on my steel series and cant seem to find a equalizer for it either but they sound good and no i do not work for the steel series brand just would reccomend for comfort price and quality over the astro a50s

The best part about these headphones would be the cancelling background noise so im not ruining the experience of my teammates while gaming online with friends. You’re submerged in the world of whatever game you play with this quality of sound.

Love the headset, comfortable, very light. No problem for those long gaming sessions. Sounds are crisp and clear.

Super sound amazing and quality perfect supper conford

Owned the Astro A40s and upgraded to this strictly for wireless use and I don’t regret it. The only complaint I have is the mic not being detachable but honestly is mic alone is great so their isn’t much need to upgrade it or anything like that, I still need to buy the mod kit for it but even as is it’s pretty great.

Great headset and works great with new Xbox Series X. Great sound and comfort. Can wear for hours without fatigue.

the best headphone purchase that i had.. i know there is the new a50x but this one is perfect for goxlr mix… you dont have to configure on the pc just plug it in aux and you good

Audio quility is great, a lot better then previous headphones ive owned, ive got a bit of a larger head so im glad theyre large enough to fit my massive cranium.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this product. I have owned alot of astros over the years both the a40 a40 tr a50 gen three and now the a50 gen 4. And with the ps5 it is just a disapointment. First they sell you the headset without the converter box . Which than u have to go back and buy anoth part for a $300 headset that is kot a cheap proce tacking on another 50$ + is just rude . Not to mention this headset the band at the top keeps popping off one side . Mind you i never replaced or took the headset band apart . It starting doing this on its own and if it doesnt ait right on my head it kweps happening . The sound if you dont have the box causes the most god awfull echoes from the mic unless muted on ps not on headset with headset mute it still causes it .found out while waiting for converter box to arrive. So to sum up the audio quality is not bad but for the price the lack of innovation in the many years this headset has been out just doesnt cut it any more . With other competitors just outdoojg them in so many areas it is sad to aay i am probably going to have to buy another brand . For the 350$ alot of good headsets with or without dacs exist. Amd again headband issue sound auality being ok comfort they run hot on my head unlike other brands . And lmowing the a40 tr sounds so much better for alot less makes me kind of want those but with the converter problem again and other companies offering usb and a dac and interchangable batteries might be first year i leave astros and it is sad to me i even had their controller for awhile till i got ps5. Only thing i didnt get was lack of mavro capability on that or mods being able to be added . But thats not thos product.

Thoroughly enjoy how easy it is to recharge with the base/stand. Sound quality is on par with the price e.i. worth the money. Only complaint is the material they use to surround the ear, initially it is comfortable but tends to rub me raw after taking on and off a few times.

This headset is awesome!! Crystal clear sound and I never have a problem connecting to my XBOX.

Best headsets ive ordered since 2012. Really good sound quality. Microphone actually works and its crystal clear. Can't be any more happier with the purchase.

These things are absolutely amazing. You’ll really get your moneys worth when you download the app on your system and figure out the PERFECT settings for movies /shows. Superior sound. Only downside is they are a little heavy.

Truly amazing gaming headphones and easily adapts to my Mac or other devices

First off, this is a good product. I bought these on Apr 15, 2021. They have served me well. I will say that firmware updates can be tricky because of their software. The battery finally died last night 4/29/2023. iFixIt.com rates the replacement of the battery as difficult because you have to desolder the connectors and then you'll need to glue the new battery back in. The replacement battery is only about $20 so I'll order it today. The reason I'm not recommending this product isn't because of its quality. I'm not recommending it because of their design choice on battery replacement. I believe they made this difficult to replace because they know impatient gamers will just go buy another headset rather than try and replace the battery. If that's what a person wants to do then that is fine but $20 for a replacement battery would leave more money for games ;) Just buy something cheaper ;)

Suggest this product for sure! Other than buying the adapter, great sound, wireless is better!
