They work perfectly. Love the quality of the Astro headsets, my A40 are still in excellent condition and had those for 4 years. Only thing I would complain about is the connectivity issues. Sometimes I have to reset the base when the mix amp is not working properly. Also make sure to check the command center app weekly to see if there is an update available.

The price point is definitely worth it if you are able to take care of your things and make them last. The one thing that gets me is the top part of the headrest tends to pop out a lot or get out of place but the amazing audio quality just makes it a slight annoyance.

I’ve gone through headsets after headsets for my PS5 and these are truly the ones! I’ve had the Turtle Beach Stealth 300, 600 Gen 2, 700 Gen 2, Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, Logitech G733, SteelSeries 7, Corsair HS70 Pro, HyperX Cloud 2 and the Cloud 2 Wireless. None of them compares to these A50 in terms of build quality, customization and sound quality. If you have a PS5 do yourself a favor and buy these now.

A50s are the bomb!

He reports that they have some instances of wifi disconnect but overall are good. Wifi disconnect is due to the Spectrum issued router. Sound is great and gave average for set-up due to needing to hook up to a pc for updates.

The base is a bit touchy for getting the headset in to charge. And unlike most other people, I don't find it super comfortable. Eventually I got used to it, but it felt too tight on my head for several weeks.

Great headphones for regular gamers

I used Turtle Beaches before and they would pick up a lot of background noise on my end. The Astros only pick up my voice and things directly next to me. They are very comfortable as well. The ear pieces are soft and breathable. The only sucky thing is if you have long hair, it always gets caught in the mic or frame. That’s with most headsets though. I’m very happy with these and hope to have them for at least a few years of everyday use.

Wearability is 7/70, heavy and tight grip, stock earcups might hurt after an hour of use. Software is 10/10, a lot of customization. Base station is easy better than manually plugging a charger into headset.
