I had the Astro A40s and upgraded to the A50s love the wireless and the sound awesome.

Best headset ever owned!! I’ve had a a couple headsets in the past, and this one beats all of them!

((Tldr at bottom))The sound quality is good, and the build quality feels good. Though I dislike how the base station is set up too many wires, and you need to update this using the Astro command center app. I had to reset these headsets way too many times and they did break after falling once off a desk. Do not recommend: too many wires, needs application to update the headset or it won't work properly. Took a short fall and wouldn't turn on after that.

The Astro A50 headset is probably the best purchase I’ve made recently, there such an amazing brand and I’ve had sticking with Astro for quite a while now and this upgrade made it ten times better!

This is the best gaming headset I've ever owned. I swore by turtlebeach for years. Now I don't think ill go back. The ease of use of the headset combined with the dolby atmosphere, man that makes for a huge difference in sound quality. Plus I haven't had near enough of the problems I had with turtlebeach headsets aka, the hollow sound coming from mics, the underwater muffle sounds either with the headset or the mic, and people can hear me loud and clear.

Price is a little steep but the sound is Amazing! I have the A40s and bought the steel series’s Arctis 9 which I loved but two different sets broke in the same place. So after that I went to the A50s and live them. I wish they had had blue tooth so I could answer calls no listen to my music like the Arctic 9. As far as gaming this is a Great headset! I love them and have no regrets buying them. Highly recommend!

Great headset with charging station great quality of sound and mic

The headphones fit comfortably on my head. The audio was clear and allowed me to hear all sounds when gaming.

Great sound, but dont usebwith PS5, you will need an adapter for proper sound (due to no optical out on ps5) the Astro one doesnt even support 4K at max speed. You will have to shell out more money for something better, wheras $99 ps5 3d audio headphones synch and sound better. 3 stars as any other need other than PS5 these would be excellent.

For gaming these are the best for sound and durability.

Not very impressed with the gen 4. Only lasted a little over a year and a half. Headset works fine but won’t connect to the base station anymore. Top cushion likes to fall out a lot til the headset is broken in. Seems to have a lot more issues than my old gen 3 a50 had. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

Superb wireless headset and sound. Quality is great as well as ease of use. Can be used on PC as well.

I bought the Astro A50 headset for my Xbox Series X on a Friday and took it back by Sunday afternoon for a refund. The sound quality is definitely superb, but you'll have to download the Dolby app from the Xbox store in order to sync your set and get the audio to come through. (I paid for the Dolby Atmos access before realizing that it's apparently supposed to be free(?) if you have a Dolby Atmos device, so that's my fault. Don't make my mistake. I believe Dolby Atmos access is free if you buy the A50 headset.) I wanted to buy a top-of-the-line headset for gaming. This was going to be my headset for the next several years, so I justified the $250 price tag. I didn't even take it out of the box until Saturday night for gaming. That's when I found out that the charging base for the headset is ALSO THE SOUND TRANSMITTER, which is a terrible design! If the charging base isn't plugged directly into the Xbox while you are wearing the headset, you cannot get any audio or game chat to come through and the headset shuts off. My Xbox is mounted 6ft. up on my living room wall. I actually considered installing a shelf high up for the base to sit on. I couldn't just leave the charging base dangling from my console by the cord, so I stacked a box on a chair next to the console for my headset base to sit on, just I could talk with my friends during game play that night. (I know it's not glamorous, but I needed a quick solution to the problem.) The foam padding on the headband pops out of the headset almost immediately. Within 10 minutes of wearing them, the padding came out and the plastic head frame was just sitting on top of my head. No mater how many times, I popped the foam back in place, it immediately came out in seconds. I shave my head, so let me tell you that without the foam padding, this headset is PAINFUL to wear. This really frustrated me because when I first put them on, this was (up to that point) the most comfortable gaming headset I've ever worn. But for $250, poor design and manufacturing quality are unacceptable to me as a consumer. Other reviews have referenced the same problems with the foam and I wish I had done a bit more research before buying the A50 headset. I was so let down by this purchase and I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this headset, unless you plan on buying the $40 foam pad upgrade kit directly from the manufacturer's website.

Ive owned astros before, and have forgotten how nice they truly are. Can wear them for hours on end, i wear glasses ans have earrings and it never has an issue with these headphones

These wireless headphones are expensive, but they are worth every penny. The sound is so crystal clear and def gives you the advantage when competitively playing FPS. The adjustable equalizer settings makes this perfect for not only playing games but adjusting it to get amazing sound when watching a movie. The headset is also very durable making it perfect for longevity
