They are a bit expensive for someone who would use them just to hear music or to game just for fun but for music industry or for profecional gaming i recomend them.

I also had an Astro A50 Gen 1 and it was wonderful as well, but this one is even better. The customization features on it and excellent mic monitoring make it the best out there. I owned a Steel Series before this and this one blew that out of the water.

Buy A50's not Microsofts Arctis 9x

My best friend had warned me not to buy them I should have listened because even getting the Microsoft Steel Series team to help them to help me try to fix the headphones was ridiculous and I gave up. 200$ the drain. The Astro A50s are EVERYTHING the 9x was not. I am very happy with my purchase. These headphones are 3x the times those arctis 9x's were.

They offer a host of options when it comes to sound ranges from highs to lows, and the option to download even more presets from the app gives the A50s unlimited life. Plugs right into a USB port for pc and works great for game sound and voice audio.

About every few weeks for no reason I can understand it just stops connecting to the base and it takes 20min to figure it out. And about half the time when it doesnt connect, I have to connect the bast station to ANOTHER computer before it will start working again. It's the most frustrating thing ever.
