Worked great for a short while then I started having issues with the base not staying connected unless you unplugged and replugged the base back in.

I've been using Astros since gen 1 A40s and love their product. I've never tried wireless headsets. This is my first set of A50s and I will never go back to them. I will buy A40s next time. The A50s do have good sound and comfort. Astro has never had a problem with sound or comfort. However, the rest of the headset is trash. I absolutely hate the base station. The main way to charge the headset is to just put it on the base station and let it charge. That seems nice, however the headset and the charging prongs never easily connect. So you have to fight the headset and jam it into the station to get it to charge. Usually I just end up having to charge it by cord. Not only is the base station trash, the actual headphones will randomly stop working. I had to YouTube the solution because I had no idea how to get the headset to turn back on. Even with updated firmware it still freezes and you have to hold buttons to "reset" the headset. It sucks to have to stop what you are playing to reset your headset. Especially after paying premium prices. Also the very first charge time is ridiculous. The pros are that it is a very comfortable headset and it does have great sound. And it is completely wireless at Dolby 7.1 that's nice. The Astro Command center is also a very nice feature too. It updates your firmware automatically and you can really dig into your headset and set the specs how you want it. But for the price I personally feel the bad outweighs the good. If it was about $100 cheaper I would be fine with the product. But at its price its simply not worth it. Having the headset freeze constantly and the issues with the base station just isn't cool. I will not recommend this product to a friend nor will I never buy one again. I will stick with the A40s from here on out.

This is definitely an upgrade from the 10 year old Turtle Beach headset she has but it’s been a pain getting the settings the way she wants. Their website isn’t very user friendly either.

Great headset, great sound, decent chatting settings. Needs to be hard resetted every now and then. Just for chatting headsets work better if you plan on chatting in game, way cheaper too.

It was a little difficult to set up at first. Not much instructions. Did not know you had to turn off the headphone in order to charge it. Once I figure it out, the headphone is awesome.

I gave this 4 stars because what it is supposed to do it does really well. I knocked off a star because charging this device on the dock is unnecessarily challenging.

Only issue I had with the headsets is that it interferes with one of my routers 5ghz channels but once I changed the phones in the house to the other Wi-Fi channels.... it now works flawless!

I think Astro makes one of the best gaming headsets period and the battery life is amazing I could game all night till morning and battery still be going and microphone is very good as well

I’ve tried all the high end gaming headset and this one ranks as the best out of all the headsets in this high end price range. Only downfall I dislike is the battery life .

It’s very nice at first then overall time it does bug up. I have to consistently reset it, and it just has had a few static moments.

for the money this headset cost it was not worth it ! its a great headset just not worth 300 dollars in my opinion its kinda quite

Headphones were purchased as a gift! Only problem we have noticed is that even though they are for the PS4 and PC, if you switch between them you have change base stations and unplug everything.

Great sound...loved it was wireless but the sync and charging station never seemed to work.

It's good for being a Bluetooth head set and hasn't broken on me like the other astros I've had. Only thing is you can customize the sides or anything but besides that it's a pretty good headset!

The sound on this headset is amazing and it pretty much stops there. There is no active noise cancellation. Buying the extra $40 mod kit would at least help with it. Microphone sounds muffled to others. Even with the Command Center the microphone picks up everything in the background making them completely useless for some situations. Add in no bluetooth and these things are lacking all around.

I bought this headset to replace a broken one . Seems like this model is a bit more sturdy above the headphones. Beware of dropping these gaming headsets as the damage easy.

Great headset but I feel like it’s cheaply made. I have had issues since day 1 with the headset sitting properly in the charging dock. Now, after 2 years a pin in the charging station has broke. I’ve enjoyed the headset but not the quality of it. As much as I paid for this thing $359, it should last. I take of my things, there was no reason for this to break and now I’m screwed. It’ll cost me a new headset or base station.

I was skeptical about getting a wireless headset but I was convinced that the A50 was the wireless headset to get. Once I made my purchase I fell in love with them, especially the volume control.

I hoping hoping to be blown away at this price point, but i was not really impressed with these. They didnt sound any better than my 99$ corsair voids that i have been using on pc.

I was hesitant to switch from turtle beach but these have been great for my gaming. Only thing I wish these had were Bluetooth capability for connecting my phone to it.
