The Astro a50 headset is great for gaming and the sound quality is unbelievable.

Love the comfort and sound of the headset. the charging seems to be a little buggy at times. Sometimes it charges and sometimes it doesn't. plug them up, leave them overnight, hook up to controller and last for ten minutes. next time it charges it may be good for all day play.

The headphones were awesome for the first couple of weeks. Suddenly the left ear phone shorted out. Will be returning for a replacement as they are some of the best headphone I've had- when they work. Could just be a one off but that is why I can't give them 5-stars

After having several pairs of the other brand break easily at the headband and then told "i am not wearing them right" I switched to these. they are built 500X better than the other brands out there. but, the "surround" is not like anything you can get with a real 7.1 speaker setup. But then no headphones can give you real surround sound. just simulated. My only gripe is you have to flip up the mic for mute, that's worthless. I prefer the mute button on the controller, so pair this with the microsoft Xbox adapter that gives you the mute button at your fingertips.

I've had three Turtle Beach headsets. The first was a set of XP500s. They broke because the electronics went out. Thank God I had the extended warranty. They were replaced by the XP510s, which only lasted a short time, a little over a year. They actually broke just above both ear-cups, due to plastic fatigue. I was sent a replacement pair of XP510s, and unfortunately they also broke in about a year, same problem. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to spend money on a product that has such a poor build quality. If you do buy a pair of Turtle Beach headphones I advise you to get the extended warranty, because chances are you're going to need it. Make sure you keep the box that it came in, as well as your receipts.

This is a great headset. It's very comfortable and well worth the money!
