So this product has the best sound I have ever heard from a headset. It's seriously amazing. My one complaint is that the Xbox one adapter that Astro made for this headset is spotty, at best. Periodically I will turn them on and it will not work at all with game chat. I have to do either a hard reboot of the headset or pair it again. Very frustrating, especially when you consider the price. There are also times when you can almost hear your hair growing, the mic is working so good, and other times when you can hear nothing. I've explored online trouble shooting and there are solutions but they all seem to involve me purchasing more equipment, something I shouldn't have to do for the price of this headset.

I am a grown woman and I have to say that these are so awesome that if my husband didnt think i was crazy i would take them to bed and sleep with them like a kid sleeps with a teddy bear

I purchased the Astro Gaming A50 Wireless Dolby 7.1 headset for my son-in-law as a birthday gift to use with his XBOX One. He has had quite a few high quality headsets and to say the least, absolutely LOVES the Astros. After a demonstration I can hear why. The sound quality is amazing, extremely crisp and clear. The mic delivers smooth and undistorted audio by far. I highly recommend the Astros.

Was always a turtle beach fan and after the terrible full wireless headset I purchased from them and the issues I had and having to deal with doing updates from the computer for the Xbox headset I decided to get a refund and purchase astros! I don't even think I will ever need a new headset as these are built to lay and the quality sound is amazing. Couldn't ask for anything better!

I really like the clarity of the headset. I have found it to be better than the turtle beaches I have had in the past.

I had to return my first purchase because it was not working right one of the wires was not connected and so the headphone did not work properly however the second head phone works great and my grandson uses it daily to game with other individuals on line and loves it

Really like the sound. True 7.1 surround. Was concerned that they seemed a little fragile. Too many parts. After some use they seem to be very well built, solid and will take some use. Only time will tell. I recommend the 2 year service plan just to be safe. The cost is minimal and after all these headsets are 300usd, about the price of an Xb1 console.

My son loves his new headphones! I like that the mic turns off when you lift it up.

Yes the audio is great, but dang my year with these I've had problems with the mic arm becoming loose to where it won't stay up near you mouth and freezing up. When I say freezing up what I mean is the volume won't adjust, eq switch won't change eq, and they can't be powered off. Not worth $300 imo not just for these programs but for what there made with just plastic parts, no metal parts like the A40s. So be careful when thinking of buying this gen and the new ones with the base station because they might still have the freezing up problems.

You simply cannot go wrong with this headset, every noise is amplified to perfection. If you want to experience the best audio for a gaming headset, then get yourself a pair of Astros. Although i can say the mic is a bit quiet but who cares when you're hearing someone from around the corner and can pinpoint their exact location.

I absolutely love this headset. It is expensive but definitely worth it. The wireless has not cut out on me at all in the three weeks I have owned it. It also seems to be very smart about conserving battery. My only issue with the headset is personally I would prefer it if the volume control was on the left side of the headset.
