I got the green/black scheme and I love them. They generally look cool. Wish you could stream music via Bluetooth like my TB 800x and the cups could be a bit more sound isolation but overall I've them. I will buy the new generation, because of the interchangeable parts.

I figured for the $300 price tag this headset would be amazing. It has some cool features but I've only owned them a little over two months and they're total junk. Now past the 45 day return mark. They constantly make a popping noise in both sides of the headset so while gaming all I hear is pop pop pop through the entire game. It's extremely annoying. I've googled for advice but the Astro forum just gives you a step process to turn everything off then turn on controller then headset and guess what it doesn't stop the popping. I'm not stuck with $300 worth of junk. Extremely disappointed. And the set up alone was ridiculous. I had to google that to because you can't just plug it in and go.

I'm still skeptical as I've only had these a few months. It seems I buy a really expensive headphones and they work great for a bit but then either the mic goes out or the speakers start crackling. So far these are great, worth the money.

Great looking, great sounding headset, i have no complaints

I am not the first of people I know who bought these with great expectations. They cut out on wireless non stop the chat adapter stopped working properly after 1 hour of use. I have a tri-band router and also used a friends connection to no avail. It is a known problem that the company refused to address for the longest time until a firmware update was released late 2015. This fixed none of the issues. Customer service was awful very delayed and just had you do everything a tech savvy person would have. I highly suggest the Logitech 933 or Turtle Beach 800. These are also conveniently FULLY wireless no cheaply made chat adapter to break plus in 2016 why is that even a thing? I would totally avoid. It's a shame as the sound is fantastic but the other comparable options sound when customized properly is just as good.

the headphones are great but i just ordered the m80s at a good price and i love them more then the a50s just because of the setup.

When the a50's are working, they sound great. I have extreme difficulties keeping the headset connected (using the Elite controller). I've updated all firmware, so I'm not sure what the problem is. They'd be such a great headset if they were a bit more consistent.

Sound quality is amazing. I returned for a40 because the Mike was useless.

The battery runs out fairly quickly. I was not expecting this for 300$
