This is a very descent pair of head phones. I have experienced a few problems with them. The first issue was that the mic stopped working completely. I could still hear my party but they could not hear me. Either the hardware or the software was broken. I had updated all firmware on the controller amp and headset. Had to return them The second issue is the audio gets choppy and pops in my ear sometimes. Other then that they are great wireless headphones. I just wish I didnt have to plug them into my controller for team speak.

The first pair I bought had problems. I exchanged them for another pair since it was still with in the time when I could. The new pair has been great. Surround sound is nice for playing games where enemies can sneak up on you.

Major upgrade over turtle beaches from last gen. Only con is the chat audio sounds a little off. Amazing fit battery life is decent. Definately upgrade the firmware for the headset and the mixamp to fix any issues right out of the box.

Awesome sound quality, I had some issues at first but i was able to resolve them on my own. The only complaint i have is that the cables that come with this headset are too short unlike the astro a40's cables which were long.

Great battery life and the sound quality is amazing on theses a50. The one problem on the a50 is the mic, the mic quality is poor but can still understand what you're saying but it sounds like you're talking far away from the mic.

These replaced some Razer headphones I had and I'm glad I spent the money for wireless. The set up was a bit difficult due to having to update the firmware in order to get it to work with my PS4. It all works now though and I have sound coming from my PC and PS4 from about 30 ft before I start to get fade out.

For real true gamers, go with Astro. Not sure about their less expensive models but their premium ones can't be beat. True, immersing 3D sound all around. I won't mention the other brands, but you know these are better.

By far the best head set I have bought and used in the last eight years. Using them on Xbox One and no problems. Just have to turn headset off and back on when you go to play so you can hear your self in the set. Ballance between chat and game really good and easy. Volume is amazing can get way to loud.

Pros the sound quality is great. They are comfortable I have a big head and they are maxed out wish they went one more click bigger but still comfortable. Cons there is some popping from time to time. The mic is bad I have $20 dollar headset with a better mic I expected more for the price. You need a chat cable going to the controller so they are not wireless I think the fixed this on the newest model. Overall they are great sounding headset with a bad mic.

Bought these for $250 and used them for almost a year before I returned them. Forget this headset. The Turtle Beach Elite 800X blow these things out of the water in every conceivable way. They would randomly disconnect since the day I bought them but it got to the point they'd disconnect constantly by the time I decided to return them. To make it even worse, they would make an abnormally loud hiss and pop noise whenever it lost connection. I mean volume turned all the way up loud and very sudden. When they worked, they sounded great. These are not truely wireless either. Use still have to use an adapter from the headset to the controller. The charging port wears out pretty quick which is probably due to the fact you have to recharge these things constantly. The battery life definitely leaves much to be desired. Never buying another Astro product again. I was lucky that Best Buy honored the manufacturers warranty so I wasn't stuck with this piece of junk. Premium price for a product that falls short in every department compared to their competitor.

I was honestly pretty skeptical when I bought these because I had read so many reviews online that all seemed too good to be true. But after buying them I realized that these are AMAZING!! the sound quality is better than my turtle beach x32 that I had before these. Works great with my Xbox One and 360

The Astro A50 by far is the best headset I ever had, the audio quality coming out of this headphones is amazingly clear not only for game but also for movies and music, as for the chat all my friends say I sound the same to them, but then again they have the standar Microsoft headset, as for how I hear my friends voice over the headphone is also clear, when they are talking the game/movie/music kinda lowers down to allow me to hear them As for battery life I have no complains, I been able to use this headphone without the need to recharge them so far, my longest game session was about 6hrs they are suppose to last up to 16hrs, I usually put them to charge everytime I stop gaming or watching movie or tv on my xb1 All this is coming from someone that tried the turtle beach xp500, I personally like this headset better, the sound can be much much louder on the A50 then the xp500 about 3x as loud So in conclusion if you are looking for a high quality and don't mind spending a little the A50's is the way to go

I have purchased Turtles, Logitech, Razer, and xbox headphones. All top of the line but all lacked in specs, sound, and quality. TB800 sound was great but mic sucked. Razer had issues dropping signal and needing an adapter was a deal breaker. Logitech were ok but I've been over using RCA cables for years why can't they change with the times. These Astro were a shot in the dark and I am 100% satisfied. Sound, programming, mic, battery life, and build quality are all top notch. Stand is a little cheap but that's my only complaint. I played for 8hrs the other day in complete comfort. If you can afford then buy.

Received the headset, after updating the firmware and some drivers, I was instantly amazed at the sound quality! True surround sound, digital audio brought gaming to a whole new level. Made me wonder instantly how I ever played and enjoyed the games like I now do!

Awesome sound love being wireless. Wish the charge cable was longer so its easier to play and and charge and dont like how it cuts off if there is no sound for a min or so

We purchased this for our son to use with his Xbox One. He loves them, especially the way the mic mutes when he flips it up. His friends can't hear his parents talking (this is huge for a teenager - or so it seems). I would buy these again.,
