My husband bought this tablet for me as an early birthday gift to replace my RCA tablet purchased from Walmart about a year ago for $150. The RCA tablet has an Android operating system; this tablet is equipped with Windows 10. Recently, my RCA Android has refused to stream Hulu videos; I wanted to replace it. I chose this ASUS Win 10 tablet, and I am sorry I did. I have had it less than a week — 3 days, actually. Here is what I've experienced: ~ ~ ~ ~ DAY 1: I plugged in the tablet, and I went through the setup and logged into Win 10. The set up and sign in process is straightforward — use your MS account and create a PIN, etc. This is standard Win 10 behavior, and it worked as expected. I allowed the tablet to fully charge. I named him "Hubert." I wanted to love this tablet as much as I love my RCA Android tablet, "George." My hopes were high, but realistic. ~ ~ ~ ~ DAY 2 : I unplugged Hubert's charger, and I checked his battery info: 100% and approx. 8.35 hours of battery life remaining. Fantastic! I set to work looking for apps, downloading my favorite tools, logging into my favorite sites, etc. He was fully set up and doing well. What a happy little guy! I started streaming shows on Hulu.com and Viki.com (I gotta have my Korean Dramas). It was all working well and wonderfully. ~ ~ ~ ~ DAY 3: I think Hubert is unhappy. I'm not sure why. Perhaps I left him alone for too long when I went to work? I attempted to stream from Viki.com: no go! It did this strange screen refresh thing during the video playback which would have the effect of a page constantly flipping down. It would skip past major parts, I would miss dialogue and subtitles. The voices ended up far out-of-sync with the mouths. It was terrible! I tried Hulu: same deal. I powercycled Hubert. It didn't help. His processing speed seemed to slow down as well. When attempting to browse and navigate through menus, it was taking a huge long time. It's as if I stepped back in time to 1996. I'm spoiled by fast processors, I guess. I napped with Hubert thinking maybe he was tired — nope. I also noticed that when Hubert falls asleep, he tends to get confused about his Wi-Fi connectivity when I wake him. I have to disconnect and rejoin the network or I can't even log into Win 10 using my PIN! That's a bit frustrating to be quite honest. ~ ~ ~ ~ As compared with my RCA tablet, George, Hubert is a huge let-down. He weighs quite a bit more, he is so very slow, and he seems to have trouble keeping up with what I consider to be basic tablet tasks. I left him alone for the night while I'm at work, but my plan is to return him in the morning for exchange. Maybe I will try him in Safe Mode first. This is a sad day. I know that it seems I'm giving up on Hubert far too soon. He's only 3 days old. I fear that I will never be pleased with the Windows 10 environment because it was already quite unpleasant even on that 2nd day when he was working well. It was cumbersome to use Windows 10 when I had been so used to Android. I must give up on this little guy, but maybe someone else will give him a good home.

Thought it would be a handy, highly portable laptop for doing work remotely when on trips. Had to return the first one within one week due to the power switch failing. Second one worked fine for over 6 months. Then came Windows 10. Initial upgrade went seemingly fine for 1 week. Then the wifi stopped working. Took it to the Geek Squad - did a fine job of getting the wifi working again. Within 2 weeks, the wifi stopped working again. Once again, the Geek Squad got it working again and gave me printed instructions to help with resetting the wifi if it stopped working again (kudos to the Geek Squad!). Then within 2 weeks, the power switch failed. Looking through other reviews indicates that the power switch is a problem for this model. The sum of it all is that I had hoped to purchase a reliable, highly portable for business purposes while travelling. This failed twice while on trips - and failed a total of four times (power switch x 2, wifi x 2) in less than a year, making it a highly unreliable model that I absolutely cannot recommend.

Easy to use and carry. Love the size and it was a great value as well. I would definitely purchase another one..... this is my 2nd and i still love it.

Doesn't seem to hold a charge very well. Won't turn on. Be sure to get the warranty.

Asus makes great products I have Asus rog laptops and 3 Asus transformer tablets that are great wanted to add a updated transformer running Windows 10 ... Looked great just what I wanted but unit was DOA ... Dead on arrival won't even turn on ... Stores don't carry it anymore had to return for refund. Such a shame because I really like Asus equipment. Had to buy different unit but same look and style and functionality from different vendor cause bestbuy could swap out bad Device. Would buy again but newer model for similarly price and features Asus is great brand and stands behind their equipment...

Dead battery on arrival! Won't charge! Errors! Had to try restore twice! No luck! Asus u failed me! Your former Asus Nexus 7" 32gb tablet I've had 3 years no problem. Don't buy until Asus fixes the bugs! Will I buy Asus again? I'm not sure, sorry!

Horrible product. In the last 6 months we have sent this device back to ASUS for repair twice and it needs to go back again. The device will stop working to where you can't power it back on. First time it went to ASUS they replaced the battery, which you can't do yourself. Second time it went back with the same problem, they replaced the battery and the main motherboard. The device quit working again last week, 8/1/2016. I can't recommend against this product enough. Don't buy it, or anything from ASUS. Yes, they have fixed it each time, but they haven't made any recommendations about just replacing the tablet all together. Each time it has to be sent in, you are without the tablet for about 3 weeks.

At first it was great but then every time I hit the button to put it to sleep I had to force restart it. Eventually it got so bad that I always made sure I save my work and closed my programs before putting it to sleep because I would never know if it would quit working on me. I wound up exchanging it out through Geek Squad for an acer one 10. Normally I have no problems with asus products. I am very disappointed with this tablet. I will never get a Windows tablet through them again.

I bought one and it would not recharge after initial charge. Best Buy was very kind about sending a new one. I can use it but was told it supported the Apps I used on Android. Don't be mislead. If you are using Android, you do NOT want to get this. Very thankful I did not pay more for it otherwise I would have returned it again.

bought this pc/tablet for my niece for christmas turned on fine then she left it charging over night it wont turn on for anything tried all tricks and its just stuck with a light ion the camera

Got an asus tablet with a keyboard last March. Mouse and keyboard stopped working. Sent it back, there was a glitch in system and the tablet was lost. Multiple phone calls, kept on hold for 30 minutes, promised call back didn't occur. Tablet was found but we are still waiting for it to be fixed. Beware.

I originally purchased this as a Christmas present for my husband. He didn't use is until school started, two days in the screen blacks out. We take it to best buy get it replaced, worked fine for about a week then BAM black screen again. This is the second time Im going to have to return this item. It is so not worth the hassle. When it worked it was great but apparently it only works for a day or two

bought for my girlfriend and paid $330 she started complaining within just a few short months that the thing was closing out of stuff she was doing alot and there were numerous other things going on....so she finally sent it in for repairs they returned it very shortly.....same probs nothing fixed sent it back they stated they dont know what we are wanting there is nothing they can find to fix so after months of them doing nothing they finally send her a replacement however this one has dead spots on the screen and has done nothing but malfunction! recommend not spending the money on this product

Took the first one back because it did not work. Second one would not charge every time. Should have taken it back. Now the screen is cracked with no drop or damage on my part. Probably past time I can return to store.

The key board first stopped working and then it would not turn on. It is completely useless. I'll just have to get a different brand.

Inexpensive yet provides enough power to use at conferences. Convenient small size yet easy to handle.

Asus laptop was Ok But there One problem the keyboard won't connect with Asus tablet I think I have to getting better Chrombook...

This has been one of the worst products I have ever purchase in my life. The laptop and tablet portions do not connect well to one another and after 2-3 months of minimal usage the computer blank out and stopped working properly. The Asus support team refused to honor my warranty requests on the product and I now have a computer that works sometimes but blacks out other times.
