It is only on the auto update schedule until June 2024. Most new chromebooks are on the auto update schedule until June 2026. This chromebook has only one USB port, most others have two. Still, it was well worth the sale price. There are better ones out there. But, if you can get it on sale and only need a chromebook for basic browsing, I don't think you can go wrong. The quality seems to be good.

I love that the Asus Chromebook is so compact and portable. The screen and keyboard are the right size for my fingers to not jam onto several all at once.

Had to print out touchpad and keyboard shortcuts from desktop computer because the Chromebook keyboard functions are different from desktop and laptop. Once I get used to it this Chromebook will be delightful.

It fulfills my simple needs and I am sure it would do a lot more if I needed it.

I use it for simple browsing instead of using my cellphones and tablet. It's fast and serves the purpose for my buy. So far, it has met my satisfaction.

I do know that while using google on this device it did not match my google information on my other devices. Did not seem to sync information well. But again this was probably. User error. Also trouble resetting information. For google login did not really have much assistance for help with device or support.

I didn’t like the way the screen had to be at a certain angle or the color was kind of washed out. I hadn’t realized how much I use backlighting - so I regretted this machine not offering that option. I loved the size and the keyboard. I also needed more memory. There was a lag when I did any video conferencing. I returned it because of the speed and the screen angle requirement
