Most of the assignments in college are online, so having something with enough RAM and storage for school apps, documents, and quick internet searches. The sound is great for online lessons. The camera is not the best, but it will do in a pinch. The fact that has a micro SD card reader really extends the storage capacity. USB type A, type C, and HDMI ports make it easy to connect other peripherals such as mice, charge phone, or connect to a second monitor for presentations.

Constant Crashing

However, the issue I’m having makes this laptop nearly unusable. I bring it with me college so I can read my online textbook between courses. Not only does it take about 5-10 minutes to even turn back on from a sleep state sometimes, but the laptop will simply shut down in the middle of me reading. Nothing I’m doing is what you’d consider even close to strenuous. This is unacceptable for a laptop, even at this price. Be warned, if you’re doing any more than google searches or Facebook browsing, this may not be the best choice for you.

To resolve the issue, please try to do a Power wash under Settings. If the problem persisted, please try to do a Power wash using the hotkeys, "Shift + Ctrl + Alt + R".

He had no trouble using it after the initial set up. So far, we have experienced no buffering issues on the videos. The fast start up is consistent with chromebooks. The picture clarity and sound are good quality. It is a keeper!
