    I've had this chromebook for 6 months and it has now stopped working. It was great as long as it worked. It wasn't used often as it was only for at home school for my son. No damage to this chromebook and one day just wouldn't turn on. The charger lights up but it won't turn on.

    Package arrived with no invoice or return slip. Nothing to show I bought this. Took 5 hours to update with 2 crashes that shut the laptop off. The laptop is extremely slow to load. And now after a few days the screen doesnt work. I'm so mad that i wasted time buying this product.

    I personally Thought it was very subpar even for something inexpensive. I felt I should’ve got a MacBook. There is huge lag in response time and things don’t load as quick as it should not does it have a good graphics. Total waste of money. Buy something else if you can

    New Asus Chromebook OS Crashes first week of use.

    Asus chromebook was great at first. A week later , Chrome OS crashed. Took a day online to find fix. Downloaded Recovery File. Restored system. Worked good one day then crashed again. Restored again, then 3rd crash the same day. Defective chromebook. Need replacement.

      The Chromebook comes with a web or cloud-based OS that is fast, secured and easy to use and is becoming a popular choice because of these features. Internet security or antivirus software is integrated, no need to purchase the software or application separately.     You get what you pay for I guess...

    I loved this computer. It was a great buy for a Chromebook. I got four month's use out of it and then it just shut off one day and wouldn't come back on. It won't take a charge, I bought a new charger and tried that. Nothing. So disappointed.

    I brought this chrome book for my 9 year old daughter about 3 months ago. As of yesterday this chrome book will not turn back on. The screen is black. I will not recommend this chrome book.

      Usually, the following can be performed if the Chromebook will not power on or boot up.

      Please verify if the AC adapter is properly connected from the Chromebook to a known good, working surge protector or AC outlet. Try to connect it to another known good power source. If running it with battery only, please make sure the battery has an ample amount of charge. If this was tried to no avail, please try to disconnect the AC adapter and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory and reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the Chromebook until the battery was charged.

    Disaster of a Chromebook

    Looks good at first and affordable but, it came in a damaged box. Do not recommend this Chromebook. It was very slow and takes up to 2 minutes to boot up. Very cheap plastic and has other issues with the charger itself.

    Stopped powering on, had less than 2 months and have only used a handful of times. Went to use it today and the display is black and will not power on. Too late to return now.
