Screen seems like an old laptop screen and if its not angled right it seems washed or faded. Some lag time after logging to fully load the browser but overall it is quick.

Not good for school

I don't know if the one I got is defective but it randomly shuts down on me, glitches as I'm doing school work, horrible multitasking and it is not durable. I've given it a chance but I need to get rid of this thing!

Do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused you if the unit auto-shutdown. On the contrary, lots of satisfied customers, having positive experience using the product, will agree with me that the unit is a decent system that is perfect for running basic and light computing applications, and school work, without compromising system stability and performance.
All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, the auto-shutdown you are experiencing is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.
In order to prevent auto-shutdown, if running with the battery only, please make sure the battery has an ample amount of charged life. Also, please do not run any power-hungry software or application. Running these applications will cause auto-shutdown when battery life is running low. If these were performed to no avail, please try to do a Power wash under Settings. If this is not possible, please try to do a Power wash using the hotkeys, "Shift + Ctrl + Alt + R".
