I just loaded it in the car to take to Best Buy-Geek Squad- to find out why the on/off button works only intermittently. It's fully charged right now, but will not turn on with the on/off button?!

It handles ok so long as you don't expect it to do too much. Doing a simple research project is very difficult because it will lag or freeze, and it doesn't seem to like firefox.

This computer was very inefficient for me. I needed to be able to actually store information on this computer, not on an external HD.

what a disappointment. Within 1 week of purchasing it the battery became lose and had to be shipped for repair. Upon receiving it back, it wouldn't turn on again. So I've had this laptop for over a month and have yet to use it. I am returning it today for store credit.

Needs to be cleaned of all the internal spam before use. Is subject of my bank account being hacked. Buy into a VPN service first and foremost

I have several of these laptops. I use them to run presentations. With the right driver updates they have been wonderful. I really enjoy the multiple output options. I am in different situations all the time. I enjoy the ability to use VGA or HDMI without using an adapter.

I like when I received, but it looked weak, I started using for 10 days and the keyboard was broken, returning to store inmidiatly.

The keyboard stop workink after two week, so went to best buy and changed for another different mini laptop.

with Windows 10 ..not bad. Would be nice if memory would be 128 GB

This laptop is only ok. Bought for small business, does what I is supposed to do, but that is about it.

Poor construction USB ports became loose after 2 weeks. was replaced by best buy. Unit would not power on after replaced one week later best buy refused to replace a 2nd time. 3 weeks broke twice. JUNK laptop. Replaced with a real name brand that is still working today. MAKE SURE TO BUY THE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY.

The ASUS X205TA is one surprisingly fun, quite running, long lasting battery and highly productive laptop for it's price level. When I first started researching the ASUS X205TA, I didn't expect much out of it. However, I found all the reviews to extremely pleasant, so I had to purchase the budget-friendly laptop. After owning the X205TA for about three weeks (at the time of this review). I find it to be a wonderful device. It's fast, light weight and as silent as a Mime. I updated the system to Windows 10 and that took awhile, but after windows was complete the system ran just as smooth as before. The battery life is around 12 hours, unless you start watching videos and then it's a little more around 6 hours. I popped a 32GB microSD card into the unit for additional storage. The mice pad can be a little off sometimes, but I purchased a wireless mouse to overcome this small issue. Overall, the ASUS X205TA is a great budget-friendly laptop that is sure to impress you once you own it. You can even ask Cortana (Microsoft version of Siri) questions about the weather, random things or she can help you with flight information or gather ideas for a date night or night out with the kids.

This was the laptop my son wanted although I recommend another. The video went out in six months. The one I recommended, I bought, but the power supply went out twice in five months.

I had this laptop for 4 days before returning it and I only paid $50 for it due to a $100 GC. If $50 wasn't worth keeping it you can get an idea of how useless it was!
