Useless don’t waste your money

Literally useless I can’t play music on this crap at all,I downloaded apps to play music it won’t play it & when I tried to transfer my music from a storage device to the computer it wasn’t enough space so I tried to play the music off the hard drive still wouldn’t play. I like to watch movies I bought hdmi to usb c cord to connect to my tv since it can’t cast to tvs. Plugged it in & it only will show the background even when you go on the internet it only shows your wallpaper/ background. Tried to play a movie nothing. This chrome book is useless I wish I didn’t waste my money!!!!!!

ASUS CROMEBOOK

Worst part is i didnt even get to opent he box to c what it even looked like. And there isnt anyway of tracking this product due to there is no SSID# or no product # for this item. No warranty well cover lost or stolen item/ items witch doesnt make any since considering that all cellphones have gps once turned on has a IP ADDRESS so it can b located well all laptops also have a IP address once connected to the internet or wifi hotspot so it can also b tracked but asus or bestbuy cant seem to track or trace any of thier chrombooks nomatter whitch companies make them.

Don’t waste your money

It's also a chrome book so you cant make it your own.. i would only get this if you were doing school and needed a chrome book. Otherwise its not worth it for day to day use.

We certainly understand the inconvenience this may have caused.
Usually, the following can be performed if the Chromebook will not power on or boot up.
Please verify if the AC adapter is properly connected from the Chromebook to a known good, working surge protector or AC outlet. Try to connect it to another known good power source. If running it with battery only, please make sure the battery has an ample amount of charge. If this was tried to no avail, please try to disconnect the AC adapter and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory and reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter then power on the unit, do not power on the Chromebook until the battery was charged. In regards to the keyboard, we recommend that you send it in or service to have it replaced if defective.

chromebook repeated failur

My previous chromebook was an HP 14", bought in Novemember of 2020 and went dead on a similar 'update' barely a year later. I need a replacement and love everything about chromebook except that it is not dependable. Which makes in unnacceptable to buy another ... unless someone reads this review and gives me a reason otherwise.

From very satisfied to deeply disappointed

Not good

Total disappointment.

It is a total disappointment. It goes black after about 5 minutes. It also overheats. I feel it should be replaced but was told by best buy in Florida that because I have had it for more than 15 days they would have to send it away. I need it for my work but the manager had no empathy for me even after telling him I could be fired.

This chromebook is a big cellphone.

However, this is not the product for me! This is like a big cell phone. You can’t do anything on it. Not at all like a regular laptop which is what I thought I purchased. I returned it for a full refund. Next time I buy a product I will do my research before purchasing it

The Chromebook is a laptop and more than a cellphone.
It comes with a web or cloud-based OS that is fast, secured and easy to use and is becoming a popular choice because of these features. Internet security or antivirus software is integrated, no need to purchase the software or application separately. Besides, being a low-cost and lightweight laptop, it supports thousands of popular computing applications, both in Chrome and Android, and Linux applications as well. Since it is a web base OS it does require a Google or Gmail account and an internet connection in order to use or operate it properly. If this is your first experience with a Chromebook, I recommend using the HELP file incorporated within the OS. To access HELP, please click your profile picture on the Notification Bar, located on the lower right-hand corner of the Home screen then click the question mark icon or widget.
