Pretty good for what it is

After using it a bit I'd recommend just getting a Windows/Mac computer. But for what it is it works decently.) Can be a bit slow to load (process) webpages sometimes, but then again it is a more budget computer... lower-end processor, lower-end on the amount of RAM. *On the other hand*, since the processor isn't really high output, the battery life has been *incredible*, which is really nice. Also, the trackpad isn't terribly good... that's my biggest negative. It just sort of doesn't track your input very well. It really can be quite bad sometimes, I end up using a mouse a lot. Really, for the specs it has, it isn't too bad. My biggest negative is the trackpad. But if you just want an inexpensive thing to use the Internet, this really is pretty decent.

I mentioned to her that i needed an easy to use laptop for a person who was in the early stages of dementia. She said the chrome books were perfect for individuals who continue to press buttons. The book is simple for my mother to operate and it doesn’t lock up like a Window computer would do. Also, the password can be entered one time and it doesn’t have to be reentered upon wakeup.

There is only one minor flaw, in my opinion, that I don't like and that's the slow start up when turning on the computer but it does shut down within in seconds of touching the power key. This is my very first Chromebook and let me just say I am VERY impressed. This laptop is perfect for running my small business and online programs for schooling. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

He adapted to the Chromebook with no problems. Not an easy thing for an "old man" but this chromebook made it easy

Screen quality is very bad and a lot of glare. Sound is muffled and not great. Trackpad is slow and not Great. Lastly this is not meant for multitasking. every application is slow. Basically good for opening Netflix and watching YouTube one at a time and that’s it. Don’t expect to get any productivity work done. Skip this purchase.
