I recommend it if you are going to school or doing a stay at home job but if you want more storage this ain't for you. I needed to buy a USB port to have more storage on it.

I'm not using it for anything heavy duty, but if you want an affordable option for internet use, etc., don't hesitate with this one. I bought it on sale for $99 so you can't beat that either.

Cpu is almost always utilized 100% just by background usage, too bad theres no cooling system on this. Has this for over a year now.

Computers tend to use close to 100% of the CPU when they are doing computationally-intensive but as you mention that was not the case, we highly recommend you to check this article that has some steps on How to Fix High Processor Usage. As for example:
-Reboot.
-End or Restart Processes using Task Manager.
-Update drivers.
-Scan for malware.
-Check Power Options.
-Find specific guidance online.
-Reinstall Windows*.

I would recommend this to a friendDecent inexpensive starter laptop for light duty.

I really only dislike one one thing about this laptop, the charger. It seems like most items now days have a usb-c charge port but this one uses a round pin port like electronics from long ago. It seems to me that the round pin charger port is a weak point for breakage compared to a usb-c type. Other than that and the speed, it seems fine.

I own a bigger version of the same laptop, the reason that I ha to buy this one is because I dropped it. Now it has the charging plug loose and a bowed screen and yet, it still works. I recommend this laptop to anyone.
