There are so many agreements and so many hidden portions that it's taken several days and I still have not been able to use it.While the sales person was nice, he made it sound so easy. It is not. Very disappointed. if you want help, they want you to pay for service that costs more than the laptop.

We do understand your disappointment and inconvenience if you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue with the laptop.
Certainly, the unit was designed as an entry-level computer that runs basic and light computing applications like web-surfing, emailing and word-processing without compromising system stability and performance. This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. Also, while accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance. Also, clearing internet cache or browsing history will improve system performance.

It’s connection to Microsoft products, your requirement to search for a way to “turn off” features that require you to utilize their products is tiresome. So much so…that this laptop will be making its way back to Best Buy!

It's unfortunate that this model does not meet your expectations, this is absolutely not the experience we want you to have and that you have to return it. We do value our customers and take negative customer service experience very seriously.
This model is included with Windows 11 in S mode designed for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn't available in the Microsoft Store, you'll need to switch out of S mode. Switching out of S mode is one-way. If you make the switch, you won't be able to go back to Windows 11 S mode. Please see the link below for mroe information.

Slow Garbage

Got it out of the box and its so slow, my sisters school chromebook runs 20x better. takes years for stuff to load on the web. good look watching twitch or any online streaming website unless you want to wait literally 5 minutes for it to load.

Pretty, that’s it.

After reading reviews I chose this one. This computer was super pretty. However it did not connect to my home internet, I took it to a cafe and it connected to public wifi with no issues. I spoke to someone and they couldn’t even guess why I was having this issue. Unfortunately I had to return.

Not good for Zoom

While the price point was great, it could not handle zoom. More specifically, the sound was distorted even while using a headset and with no other programs running. I will be returning this.

Disappointed!!

Well, I purchased this Asus & it is NOT performing any better than my Toshiba!!! I am sooooo disappointed with this purchase!! I'm soooo tired of throwing money away!!

Slower then tortoise

No Good

Home screen kept changing photos. Battery would not charge after first charging up. All this in the first two days. Returning it as soon as possible.

We certainly understand the inconvenience if the laptop will not power on or boot up.
If the laptop has been in sleep mode for a long time, it goes into hibernate mode. When it's on this state or mode, the power button needs to be pressed and held down until the unit wakes up successfully. Or, if a recent WINDOWS Update was just installed, the laptop will go into a black screen temporarily while updates are being applied in the System Registry.
About the inaccurate system time, please install all Windows updates to resolve it. In regards to the battery not charging, please verify that the AC adapter or charger is connected properly from the laptop to a known good power outlet or AC source.
