We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused. WINDOWS 10 S Mode version was intended for speed, simplicity and security. Only applications available at the Microsoft Store are allowed to be installed. In order to install third-party applications, the OS needs to be switched to WINDOWS 11 HOME in order to installed third-party applications. For tutorials on how to switch the OS, please go to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/switching-out-of-s-mode-in-windows-4f56d9be-99ec-6983-119f-031bfb28a307#WindowsVersion=Windows_11.
