I wish I have the right/left click on the pad but you can always hook up a wireless mouse and you should be okay. I don't like the num pad on the pad either but like I said, nothing a mouse can't fix.

It's not fast and it slows down tremendously when you're running multiple apps. I wouldn't recommend it for gaming because it lags. If the computer is mainly being used for school work, it should be fine.

For $99.00, this laptop cannot be beat, if you just want a lightweight computer with decent battery to surf the web and do light business/admin/personal computing stuff. It definitely changed my perspective on low-end computers.

It Does the Job

This is not a bad burner/backup/beginner pc. It will perform basic internet access and text processing/note taking. The CPU and GPU seem slow. Most other functions I want are supported. The purchase price is a major feature. This machine replaces an identical laptop purchased for low-end notetaking when I travel to countries where confiscation is a risk. Within 90 days of purchase of the prior unit, the monitor failed, and the touchpad failed. Cost to repair exceeded cost to purchase a new unit, so I used half the USB ports to add aftermarket monitor and mouse. The original laptop remains in service and the replacement has no problems, yet.
