    Wow this has some issues. It seems very much like an over sized chromebook. It has no dvd player, no microphone use with headphones plugged in, and the camera is junk. If the camera matters you will want something else. I like the keyboard but the keys are hard to tell apart by touch. I hate the courser pad. It lags constantly and the browser stops working on day 1. I'm worried about the overheating. It smells terrible when it gets warm. I might need to replace it already. The charger also got hot.

    Purchased this computer 21 days ago and the number keys won't work. There is a statement underneath my order that says this had to be returned by August 25. That's 15 days from the purchase date. Guess they know these pieces of junk won't last very long.

      In order to improve the touchpad and keyboard responsiveness and stability, please install all recommended WINDOWS Update. The touchpad and keyboard will be momentarily unresponsve if Windows update are being downloaded or installed.     We bought it or a gift, Father's day. My father-in-lawdid ot like it because he found it too slow for his needs. We returned it.

    Rough starter for computer

    The mousse is not user friendly there is a on/off switch for the pad included with the mouse area and if you by mistake turn it on you will be adding number to what ever you are typing and not know why. If you rest your wrists on the computer like every normal person does if will start typing what ever it wants to.

    ASUS Laptop

    Unfortunately, The ASUS laptop didn't work for me. I mean it could not serve the purpose for which I purchased it. On two different occasions, technical support tried to remotely fix the problem without any success. I returned it on 5/19/21 for a full refund. I will look out for another laptop as soon as I see my refund put back in my Best Buy credit card.

    HOW MANY POINTS WILL I RECEIVE FOR THIS REVIEW?

    My 3rd one in less than 6 months. ASUS tells me NOT to spend more on Geek Squad protection because ASUS has a contract with BB, & BB says “we DO have a contract, but WE LIKE MONEY!! So, I guess you can pay us more than the price of the laptop, or just buy another one.

Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

    I wasn't impressed with the style or quality. It is my daughters first laptop and I wanted something easy for her to use. We've had nothing but problems with it since we brought it home. Stuck at home on quarantine we were unable to return and now we can't. Please dont buy this you'll be disappointed

    Terrible Laptop

    Bought to use for school. The laptop crashes every 30-45 minutes and can't even do light coding. 3 Chrome tabs take up 70% of the CPU, and there is not enough ram. Bought an M1 Macbook Pro instead of continuing to use this one. Don't buy it if your in college!

    This laptop is hardly capable of connecting to the internet without freezing. I understand there are budget options for a reason, however for $50-100 more you get a fully functional computer. This had to be returned as I could not process work emails on it.

    I can see why this computer was so cheap and returned before me. Didnt even have a internet driver. Unusable. Basically a computer for show. I just want to know how did geeksquad fix this. Or did they?

    Worst laptop ever

    This uploaded a Windows update and then told me Windows could not locate a hard drive. Returned this crappy thing in less than three weeks and got upsold to an HP. Felt like I got scammed.

    Not a good laptop for any reason

    Worked great for a total of not even 1 month at the most and then blue screened on me. Left it alone for a couple of days and now nothing loads.

      We do understand the inconvenience if you started experiencing blue-screen-of-death after a month of usage.


      To resolve the issue, please try to install all feature Windows update if the OS is outdated. If this was performed to no avail, please try to do a power cycle by shutting it down completely, disconnect any external devices and do a system reboot or restart. You may need to do this a couple of times. If problem persisted, please bot up in Safe Mode.


      1. Click the Windows-button → Power.

      2. Hold down the shift key and click Restart.

      3. Click the option Troubleshoot and then Advanced options.

      4. Go to “Advanced options” and click Start-up Settings.

      5. Under “Start-up Settings” click Restart.

      6. Various boot options are displayed. ...

      7. Windows 10 starts in Safe Mode.


      Once in Safe mode do a System Restore in order to revert the system to the last known configuration. If this didn't work, boot up again in Safe mode and do a System Recovery.
