First, the elephant in the room. This laptop was $199, now for some reason the retail value is $219. What?! lol PROS: +Great for budget stuff like browsing, banking, etc. +Windows S is great if you don't plan to customize it with 3rd party software, ability to move out of S mode +Keys are surprisingly bigger than I expected for a 14 inch laptop, makes it easier to type than those squashed ones +Honestly budget laptops of the past were pretty bad. There was always some issue like lag or slows down etc. but so far this one actually keeps up somehow. I would totally recommend this if you are looking for a budget laptop for basic stuff. Worse case scenario, you can play games on the cloud with this just fine. NEUTRAL: The numpad on the trackpad is hit or miss. I feel like this trackpad can get dirty really easily and skew the register of the numbers. Otherwise, I would just buy a numpad if you need it. NEGATIVES: -For what it is, I can't say anything bad. I just don't like the charger but meh, can't complain for the price. -Asus usually has a horrible wifi range compared to the average, and this has the same symptom. I mean it still works fine but just a head's up.

I loved the laptop when I first got it but over time I realized that it wasn’t a good laptop. The screws on the back were beginning to come out I had to try to screw them back in. The laptop is beginning to act as if it doesn’t want to hold battery any longer because when I take the charger out it literally is completely dead and I have to keep the charger in while using it.

i really liked this computer i got it a few weeks ago. very fast (at least for me) and i like the size considering how tall and how big my hands are. 10/10

I believe its great for kids but definitely not for someone who fully needs it.

as my first laptop, it was fine. the memory size could have been a bit bigger, but thats to be expected of a budget laptop. my spotify seemed to break down and i had to reinstall it a few times, and im not sure if its the laptop or the app. the calculator app appears randomly, which isnt a big problem for me since i can just exit out of it. it also tends to freeze to a black screen sometimes. so yes, its the bare minimum, but i can do many things on it. very good starter laptop :)

I like it's affordability, ease of use wit its construction and its operational applications.

Nice basic laptop, can't upgrade memory but did have another card slot for hard drive expansion. Dropped a 512gb ssd card in it now it blazes. Very happy with this laptop now.

So i got this computer for my birthday and this computer has been a pro at gaming any time I play games on it never crashes it work like new like it just came out of the box and I would give this computer to a friend. anyone looking for a pc I would buy this one.

Great computer. i got this as a open box a a good price. it has 2 usb ports and hdmi port. you also can go wireless to your tv.

This laptop is definitely not worth the price tag, despite the fact it's already on the cheap end. *RAM is NOT upgrade-able. The specifications lie about this. *The GPU is NOT an Intel HD 5000 as stated in the original description. It has since been updated due to complaints. *The display is NOT a 1920x1080 - it's a 1366x768, which is a big reason why the price is not worth it. On top of this, it has serious light-fogging issues (the bottom area is noticeably brighter than the top due to the fact it uses the NOW INCREDIBLY OUTDATED method to light the screen which uses actual lamps) Overall, despite the already low price, this laptop should be only considered if better models at a similar price are not available. The fact that there are so many inaccuracies in the specifications also shows how desperate both Best Buy and Asus are to offload these machines.

This laptop stopped charging around two months after I purchased it. I went to the Geek Squad, and they told me it was an internal issue, and the price to send it in and get it fixed would be almost as much as the laptop itself is worth. Even before it broke, this laptop was really finicky. The numpad touchpad will turn on seemingly at random and the video camera will turn off if it doesn't get enough light, both of which were constant annoyances during the two months this product worked properly. I'm currently in the process of figuring out how I can get my money back for this.
