This particular model is an entry-level laptop that runs basic or light computing applications, without compromising system stability and performance. If speed is slow running these basic or light applications, please ensure Windows is up to date. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If they are accessing web applications, please check if the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor or unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance.

Great gift for a child

She absolutely loves it, however it moves a bit slower than I would like but for a child it’s perfect…. It was a great price as well so that definitely helped!

Right out of the gate Microsoft OS 11 did not work properly. I was unable to launch the settings - THE SETTINGS. How am I to change my desktop background if I can't even launch the settings. The solution involved reinstalling the OS - Did that -It still did not work. In fact, I followed every suggested fix (which BTW involves some rather annoying code nonsense) to no avail. There were more than half a dozen YouTube videos on the topic each with several thousand views. How can a company feel confident in their operating software if that isn't a "tell"? Again, not a laptop problem - an operating system failure. Contacted tech support who suggested I bring the computer into the geek squad and have them install windows 10. Excuse me? I just bought this and now I have to bring it back so they can install a different OS in order for it to work properly? Nope. Not gonna do that. I had the computer for 2 days. Never again will I purchase anything running a windows operating system. Mac is more expensive but at least I am confident the OS will work right out of the box. Shipping it back immediately. Side Note: The OS automatically opts you in to cloud backup so, as soon as you import media, it immediately begins to upload it to "OneDrive" - maybe people want this feature but to automatically enable it without notification - NOT COOL! It would seem the operating system is more interested in collecting information on the user than actually working properly.
