    Maybe Good Enough for DOS or Linux CLI...Not Win11

    This PC can't run Windows 11....every time I start it up, it just hangs at the Windows desktop, takes 30 seconds - 1 minute just for it to decide to be ready for user input. Web pages are slow as molasses. This might be a good PC to run CLI Linux on, but absolutely not Windows 11. I am returning this to the store.

      Certainly, the laptop will work properly with Windows 11. This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. While accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.

    Its an OK computer, can't beat the price. Internal memory sucks, have to use a thumbdrive to save things. And the camera never worked...

      We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience if you are experiencing stability issue with the laptop. Initially, there is an ample amount of storage space in order to run WINDOWS and popular software or applications efficiently. However, since cumulative WINDOWS Update is being released periodically, additional third-party software being installed, and the OS file size becoming bigger with files being added, the space available may be limited. This can easily be resolved by using a memory card for saving documents, photos or videos, and for installing third-party applications. The C drive will be mainly use for WINDOWS Update installation. For detailed instruction on how to do this, please go visit Microsoft's Knowledge Base.



      Regarding the camera issue, please check if Windows is up to date and reinstall the Windows camera application if it still doesn't work after updating Windows.

    The price was right for what i needed, however the mouse pad died within 2 weeks of very light use. Had to add an external mouse.

    Purchased this faulty useless laptop in August for a middle schooler and currently it won’t turn on.. it’s a black screen… who knows if it’s a faulty charger or what.. probably spend your money on something more reliable. This was waste of money.

    It worked fine for its price but after a month or so, the computer stopped detecting network adapter. If this network adapter problem does not occur to you, it is a good product. But if this happens, there is no way of fixing it.

    This is the worst laptop. I got something inexpensive as I use this for work daily. I have had it since September and the mouse pad no longer works. Battery has to be charged at least twice a day.
