I have an older (2015) Lenovo chromebook and it looks totally smooth. Will be returning this and getting another Lenovo.

The installed app that came with it would not open. Apparently this is an issue across most Chrome books. Hopefully this is a permanent fix. Too bad someone doesn't come up with a decent size INTERNAL hard drive for these.

We certainly understand the inconvenience this may have caused if pre-installed applications cannot run out of the box.
Since the OS gets automatic update periodically, preinstalled applications may need to be updated in order to work or run properly. Periodic OS or application update are normal on any Chromebook.
