I thought of giving it 4 start because of the keyboard . It is very difficuilt to see the letters in certain light conditions, but for that price it was a good buy. The build Quality is great, its fast and just a great little thing to have.

Am thinking of painting the letters on in black or buying stickers. Overall I am not enjoying this purchase and wish I had picked differently.

Price we right and it works well.

I fits on my lap well and it is just the right size for sitting on my living room Chair. The lit buttons are a plus and a minus. Its great when the light is dime, but hard to see when the room is bright.

That said, there are some small issues I had with it, where I would rate this a 4... The wifi chip is absolutely abysmal. Sitting outside i cannot get a 5ghz connection, and the 2.4ghz connection is weak and goes in and out. I have no trouble with my other devices and can usually get about 20ft outside my house. The router is relatively close to the area I was sitting outside but it didn't go well through the brick. In the home it works perfect, but using it outside is huge for me.... The other issue I had was the track pad is a bit sensitive, wish it performed a little better, but again at the price it's totally fine. At $120 the small issues are not deserving the lower rating. So I give it a 5 at $120. If the price goes back up, I rate this a 4.

And about the keyboard you need to bright it to the maximum so you can see it well ( it comes with a week light at first) or turn it off if you prefer it. (you need to hold the alt and then the bright button to light the keyboards)

Screen is dim, base is plastic, keys are hard to see, but the positives are many: M3 processor, HD screen/wide angle, 8gb ram, large mousepad, thin bezel, light weight, 14", good battery life. A steal deal!
