    I have had a lot of difficulty with this laptop. It has either frozen on me or has a long lag time.. and this is just trying to go between web pages, or opening a spreadsheet and my emails.

    [Employee of bestbuy] The absolute worst laptop I’ve ever owned. It wouldn’t update out of the box, a bunch of errors, you have to sit on top of your router for it to get wifi connection, I finally got it to update to windows that is supported and it still acts up. It’s slow, I’d be ashamed and embarrassed to put an asus badge on this thing. 100% don’t recommend, spend a little extra and get something better.

    Best Buy won’t ship me this/worst customer service

    I can’t review this item as Best Buy won’t ship it. I’ve called four times, opened cases, and these dirtbags won’t ship it. So the one star is for Best Buy, not the laptop. I’d give zero stars if I could.

    Not so happy I got it because I needed a computer asap as my MacBook is broken, I’ve misplaced the charger right after I use it, my husband found it yesterday now that I am trying to use it battery is fully charged but as soon as I put my pin on turned off and no way to turn it on again!

    I’m not to happy about this purchase. I came in around Christmas looking for a laptop for my child. My original choice was an HP but I was told this one would be faster. This thing is SO SLOW he can’t even browse the internet or watch YouTube !

    The ASUS Notebook meets my requirements and then some. First, it is very lightweight. My career is in Information Technology (IT) and I have a few laptops, both Windows based and Mac two of which were recently acquired (last two years). This new ASUS is definitely the lightest in weight. A must have is a display that is sharp and clear. This ASUS checks the box. The ASUS Chromebook has several items I didn’t know I wanted. The first being the large display value on the keys, so much easier to find the correct key! A number pad incorporated into the mouse pad. How come no one ever thought of this before, genius. Add the advance features of the camera where you can set a lighting mode that is best for you and the ASUS is a winner. Additionally, this ASUS has a feature I have always wanted, a lightweight cable. The ASUS comes with a power adapter that is less than two inches square. I really appreciate that “ASUS” is on the power adapter, so I know which cord goes with this notebook. Also, the cable has a Velcro cord tie permanently attached, nice. You wouldn’t expect to care about the power adapter/cord but it goes where the Chromebook goes, so it matters. If the prongs folded flat for travel, the power cord would be perfect. Another feature, the screen can lay completely flat. I wasn’t sure why I would need this. Turns out it makes it very easy to share your screen. I have used this feature more than expected, e.g. looking up a part and being able to have the handyman confirm it’s the correct one. Setup took a bit of time, 40 minutes to load updates, so keep it plugged in. Overall setup time was about an hour. I was paying attention and during setup I specifically said to setup as a new laptop. Meaning not to bring any backup and/or settings/bookmarks from another laptop backup stored in the cloud. The setup process ignored my selections and loaded a backup of another laptop from the cloud. That was disappointing. Easy enough to delete everything.

    I ordered this Laptop 30 days ago and it has already stopped working. And I was told I wouldn't be getting a refund for it. Very bad product. Do not purchase. They are not good at all.

    Slow out of the box and already saying "memory low" without installing anything else. If the return window hadn't lapsed before we opened it, it would have been returned.

    Mouse key pad stop working

    Got in November and only had for 5 months and the mouse pad no longer works barely use it and for it to stop working is disappointing
