Overall great gaming laptop for my son especially for the sales price we got it at. May need to do some upgrades over time, but this is great for now and the most bang-for-buck!

Even though I bought this computer a couple years ago, it is still performing at its peak and I am even able to play some graphics intensive games that enjoy without any frame drops.

I use it for work, gaming, and general use. The only time I have an issue is during long gaming sessions and due to overheating. However, I also bought I cooling mat, which has helped immensely.

This machine is clearly one of those limited-time "inbetween models" by ASUS, produced cheaply just so it can go on sale for black friday. Bought this just before that day, and have major issues with it like most other reviewers who bought it during that time. Battery lasts 2 hours or less when doing nothing but browsing the internet, so it's not good for taking out of the house. Runs a few AAA games, but not well even on high settings. STAY FAR AWAY from this model.

It's a great laptop but I recommend upgrading the ram and getting an extra 1tb of internal storage because 512gb ssd is not much (I got the laptop when it was on sale during black friday)

Impressing laptop. However if you think that you can buy this for education, think twice. Battery life is low you wouldn't be able to carry it.

great gaming laptop! I got this for a great price! I installed an additional 8gb of ram. The laptop runs nice and cool and hasn't given me any issues!

I got this during an awesome Black Friday deal event in 2019 and it has been such an amazing buy for the casual gamer/student. Definitely get this if goes on sale again!

Everything is great except for the coil whine. The ticking sound gets loud even when it's idle. If you want a quiet laptop, this will not be the one. I might return it for this reason.

Excellent upgrade from my old windows 7 computer. Love how fast it boots up and speed on the internet. Also very happy with the lighted keyboard. Just a nice computer for the price.

got during cyber monday fantastic entry grade everyday carry laptop. Looks great runs well can play generally everything on normal settings.

I bought this laptop computer for my Grandsons high school graduation. He will take this to university and he is very happy with it.

I’ve had this for 1 1/2 weeks. Everything hardware wise seems great. My issue is the My ASUS update software. It doesn’t work. Won’t update my drivers to the newest at all. I’ve contacted ASUS tech support twice with no real help given. Just a “we’re aware of the issue” and we’re working on it reply, but no timeframe or urgency at all. You can update manually, but it’s a pain as there are no setup files in the file downloads, so you’ve got to go to device manager and hopefully identify the right device for each update. Very time consuming. I’m perplexed that no one else’s review has had this issue. Makes me wonder if it could be some configuration error/issue. If ASUS doesn’t contact me with a solution soon, I’m going to take it back. Hopefully the Dell G3 I was going to buy will go back on sale. Frustrating!!

Not exactly the most powerful gaming laptop, but not bad by any means. I get high frames in the games that are most important to me. Structure is great. Overall an awesome laptop

Good entry level gaming PC. Serves its purpose for general usage (browsing the internet, document processing) and for running most games.

My son uses this laptop everyday since we bought it and battery still holds good charge. We had no issues with this product.

I got this laptop on black Friday for my son. Its i5 is almost as powerful as the last gen i7 on my laptop and the video card is solid for mid range gaming.
