This is not good and very disappointing from best buy showing the wrong specs. Also the spacebar has no backlighting. Weird!

The keyboard isn't the best but i actually really like it compared to my HP Omen. The thing that really kills any love that I have with this laptop is the touch pad. Oh my God the touch pad is horrendous. It absolutely ruins the otherwise good experience that I have with this laptop. Another thing that really grinds my gears about this product was the intentional vague marketing they used when it comes to the refresh rate of the display. It is not 144hz or 120hz, but 60hz. Worst part was that the Best Buy I bought it at was displaying the model with 144hz for this laptop. Anyways, I can forgive that since they were not actually claiming that this model has 144hz, but it does leave an exceptionally bad taste in my mouth, The last little issue I have with this laptop is that it the display occasionally flickers on and off, which makes me worried that I'm going to have a more serious display issue later on. I will most likely return this laptop to Best Buy. If it were just the track pad or the refresh rate, i could live with that but all these issues are just too much, and i"m not willing to spend money repairing a new laptop that I just bought. Might as well spend that money on a more reliable one. I used to love Asus products but now I am not so sure,

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop Black Friday When I got home, I turned it on & updated the system the keyboard stopped working I had to reboot the computer a couple of times until it started working again & I returned it & got another after updating it I had an issue with the battery.. new out of the box & having a battery issue it gave me an error saying “plugged in not charging” like really this has got to be one of the worst computer I’ve ever gotten!!!! Not only that but it couldn’t even play games well unless I had my charger plugged in

We are terribly sorry to hear that the first gaming laptop keyboard was not working and the second model battery wasn't working properly. We understand your disappointment with the devices and the inconvenience this may have caused. ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and final inspections for both hardware and software before we send it out to the stores worldwide. ASUS provides warranty for the unit in order to fix or repair any isolated factory escape defect. Rest assure this information will be passed on to our development team. We are recommending to uninstall and reinstall the device battery driver and complete a bios reset.
1) Right click your start icon.
2) Go to device manager.
3) Click the "Batteries" section. A list of devices will appear.
4) Right-click the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" device and click "Uninstall."
5) Then restart the device.
Bios Reset
1.Ensure the device is turned off.
2. Push the power button and tap on "F2".
3. Once into the BIOS, tap "F9" and select "Yes".
4. Then tap on "F10" and select "Yes",(to save settings and restart).
