    DO NOT PURCHASE!! I purchased it last June 2019 and now it will not work!! It is stuck at the Aptio Setup Screen and I cannot get it to work. A product key with windows 10 was installed, and did an update and now my operating system is not being recognized. I have tried everything to fix this computer, Launch CSM, reinstall windows, and a factory reset, nothing has worked to repair this laptop. I scheduled for Geek Squad to come to the house after explaining the situation, then they went to the wrong address. Rescheduled another appointment only to be told by the tech that they are not allowed to bring software from the store. So still have a non-working laptop, After research this happens quite often with this Brand computer. A waste of time and money.

    After Geek squad staff member gave me a tour of unit covering features, tips and highlights while at store, I took it home to become more familiar with unit at my own pace. After working with it for a couple of hours I determined it was only going to be a source of aggravation and returned unit for refund.

    This laptop is a PIECE OF GARBAGE. The keyboard does not work at all. It keeps skipping keys. You constantly have to go back and retype words. The mouse is useless. The computer does not work as fast as advertised. Very unsatisfied.

    It's windows 10...

    I hate windows 10. Microsoft could have just kept making windows 7 better. I'm less than pleased that I'm finally going to have to convert my desktop to windows 10 soon. The laptop is great however. But I had to give only 2 stars for windows 10. I would have given 5 stars if it had windows 7.

    After using this laptop for 6 months, I’m purchasing a new one. It is very slow, crashes all the time, and will randomly restart all the time. Sometimes it won’t even turn on. It is also super heavy and the screen quality isn’t great. Would not recommend.

    I can't in good conscience, recommend this computer. I got it for "solid state hard drive" thinking "great! it'll load faster and be a smoother operation" after just over a year of use, I'm fed up. What you trade for faster bootup is anything else you'd like to do. Won't stay connected to WiFi at all. No matter the router, no matter the location, no matter the ISP. You WILL lose internet. Every browser crashes, the sound isn't great, the keyboard can't key up with anything that resembles fast typing. I regret this purchase and have bought ASUS products before without issue. If this was my first ASUS it would be my last. That's how awful this computer is.

    Keyboard is terrible. Sometimes doesn't work had to connect an external keyboard. It's so light that it appears cheap in quality.

    Bought this laptop to give as a gift. When it was unboxed and used for the first time, bottom of screen has a long horizontal "wavelike" blackout of about .25-.50 inches in varied height. Bestbuy refused to accept return even if its still within 30 days, saying that it was "physical damage", therefore not covered in returns. In my opinion, based on how they talked to me--- it seems they were assuming that I was the one who damaged it and was trying to sneak a return. NOT worth buying the piece of junk. Next...

    This is the worst computer I have ever owned! Sound is impossible to get loud enough no matter what I've tried! Track pad is horrible, if you click on one thing you get something completely different! Horribly slow for just simple web pages and when trying to scroll down a page it hangs ups all the time! Just try to print something on this incompetent machine , it can't communicate with the printer even after downloading the drivers! Junk, Junk, Junk!!!!

The internal speaker is decent, however, for better listening pleasure, we recommend using a headset or external speaker system. The touchpad is a smart device, please allow some time to get use to the multi-touch function of the pad. In order to improve the touchpad responsiveness and stability, please install all recommended WINDOWS Update. If you are accessing web applications, please verify if the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will affect the responsiveness of the touchpad. Also, try updating the ASUS Smart Gesture utility and try to configure the touchpad within the application. In order to maintain optimum system stability and performance, cumulative WINDOWS Update needs to be installed periodically. If you are accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.     I was really excited to purchase this laptop that I drove 40 miles to get the last one they had in stock. After one day, I returned it. It was very cheaply made and the webcam was standard definition. It was so bad, to do a conference call, I had to hook up an external webcam. I don't know who thought that would be acceptable. It's absolute garbage and I would not recommend it to anyone.

We are recommending to back up the device and complete a system refresh on the device. Please follow the steps provided: Navigate to Settings, you can get there by clicking the gear icon on the Start menu > Select "Update & security" > Click Recovery in the left pane> Under 'Reset this PC' select Get started > Select keep my files. The system refresh will reinstall the operating system, Your personal files and documents and settings will not be affected, However the PC setting will be set back to default. Applications downloaded from the windows store will be kept applications installed from disks or websites will be removed. A list of removed applications will be provided on your desktop after the refresh is completed. The system refresh may take 45 minutes to an hour.
