Does not support 5G Wifi - Too slow!

It only supports Wireless-B, Wireless-G, Wireless-N per the specs which is too slow for today's networks. My speed test came in at 40Mbps download speed versus 380Mbps on my Macbook connected to my Fios 5G network. Returning this laptop. I even see that Asus replied to answers on this page from customers and said it was 5G! I reported to BestBuy. Returning this tomorrow. Buyer be warned...

Thank you for writing a comment for the product. I do understand your concern regarding the issue connecting to 5GHz bandwidth. The wireless LAN adapter does support 5GHz network. Please install cumulative WINDOWS Update in order to update the OS wireless network services. I set up myself and we use for training videos, email, and has a decent sound from computer. If Area Ian loud you may want external speakers.

Computer came well packaged. No damage to product even though there was damage to the outside box. Since a friend of mine who knows much, much more than I know about what I need in a computer recommended this to me I'm certain it will meet my needs. Sleek design.
