We are so far very pleased with our recent purchase of this laptop its got everything we need for our little busness and light weight so taking it alone with us is not a problem..

Was looking to buy a reasonable priced laptop for wife to search the net. Was surprised how much it offers for a price on sale of $300. Haven't had it very long but she loves it.

Let's be real. If you have disposable income of any sort, you'll probably be looking at something a little better than this laptop. I bought this halfway through grad school when my previous laptop crashed unexpectedly and this was the best I could afford. As far as processing goes, it's about what you'd expect: it can't handle too much at one time but gets the job done. My complaints are about the internet and the headphone jack. I am constantly having to run the windows diagnostic tool because my laptop drops the wifi, and I've had to have the wifi chip reseated once already. However, there are no issues with the internet when connected with an ethernet cable. Irritating, but for my purposes, not a deal-breaker. The other irritation is that the laptop often does not recognize when headphones are plugged into the jack; sometimes they work fine, other times intermittently, and other times not at all. The computer speakers themselves work, so again, irritating but not a deal-breaker. For the money, you could do worse, but if you can afford to spend more, shop around.

Always ASUS is a good quality product, this laptop is very fast for any entry-level use and basic gaming!!!! I recommended to my daughter and she got one!

I purchased this laptop for very basic computing at home . Plan on keeping it pretty empty as far as programs to keep the speed up for web based programs. Great deal for what I was looking for. No frills and the finish is kind of cheap looking as well as the key touch seeming flimsy as the body flexes as you type.

I bought this for my wife after her computer finally burned out after many years of use. She has not had any problem using this computer to do complex projects and uploading many photos and all of the usual tasks that requires basic computer knowledge. It has been basically trouble free and user friendly. Great first computer for anyone as the keyboard is nice and easy to read.

Fast long life battery laptop.I received free office 2019 student version with it. Price is very reasonable for its specs. It did not come with dvd drive and you will need external one

This is a very powerful laptop for this price. SSD memory not only increase the performance speed but also reduce the thermo issue as well. Great price!!

Having left Windows for Apple, I’ve noticed that for as much as I love the Apple platform, I still needed a device that was reasonably priced and ran the Windows OS well. Having done my homework, I ventured upon this Asus brand laptop, while it might’ve been a larger laptop than I previously wanted at a “15”6” screen, the Asus X555QA without an internal CD/DVD optical drive, doesn’t weigh as much, and with care it can be a proper device for a student.
