Honestly didn't want to write a review but with this computer it's impossible not to complain about it. From the store the lady told me for beginning gaming this is the best option for the money, even though I willing to spend almost 1500 on the other laptop they had in store ... But no she told me spending the thousand for this computer would be a good idea .. she was wrong. If you have it spend it, the 8gb of memory is more like 6gb of memory. How do I know when I looked into the armoury crate it says it .... So randomly it will just down or if you want to stream live and game ... Don't do it with Forza .. it won't work and with grand theft auto there so many programs that this computer has that keep clashing with each so sometimes it records sound sometimes it won't play sound at all .... So just be prepared if you but this computer to get frustrated, angry, annoyed, upset and some how amazed that as loud as it gets it shouldn't have any crazy issues but wrong. So only thing you are really paying for a decent graphics card and sometimes the computer don't even know which one to run either, everything else on this computer is what comes on a basic updated desktop you find at work .... So spend up and if you can't then settle I guess but as I said be prepared.

Need more ram, I don't know if this computer could be used for so long if I didn't know how to add extra ram. Don't be mistaken, everything else works great, premiere, photoshop and some casual gaming. However, with only 8gb of ram something just having chrome in the back while you game can cause issues. I needed to put in a 16gb ddr4 to stop stuttering in some apps. I would not recommend to product to most people as 512gb of sd is also very little.

This computer was all I could find due to the Covid. It was the new model and had all the features a budget gaming laptop needed, except memory. I bought more afterwards and installed. It is a monster and it has been problem free for a month now. Two things bother me a little though. The install of memory required me to open the whole back panel as opposed to unscrewing a little door and I dinged the plastic a tiny bit. That could have been easier, The other is the speakers sound good but are underpowered. I love the rest of the functions and the way it looks. Top notch! For how long?........

Great all around fast gaming laptop, can change the colors on the keyboard. Highly recommended for someone looking to enjoy games on a laptop at half the cost.

Faster laptop. The 4800H cpu is faster and less heat than any Intel out there. Paired with the RTX2060, this makes a very capable gaming machine.

Decent packaging when shipped - only a minor hole in the plastic packaging and even while sitting in the pouring rain for hours, the rain did not reach the laptop (just a few patches of the outer cardboard box was wet)! About the product itself: had it for almost a month - only froze once. Games work well with good frame rate. Don't need a separate app to change the RGB backlit keyboard. Sound quality could be better. Laptop and charger can get pretty hot while playing games.

works great havent had a negative issue yet i highly recommend taking advantage of upgrades i paid 20 for an ax wifi card which my understanding is people have issues with the factory one i opted for a major ram upgrade to 32gbs and slapped a spare 1tb ssd in there and this thing peforms perfect if you game on this laptop it will get toasty if it seems to get choppy make sure you either have it plugged in or have the battery save mode in nvidias program turned off as it will limit you to 30 fps all games i have play have no issue hitting 60+ fps

I bought this laptop. And my god. You open up the box. out comes a laptop. You plug it in. Hit the button. Boom you're computing baby. The difficult part is that for decades my father has been in a slide towards mushbrain fox news (or as I call it, FAUX news) descent. All he does is repeat tucker carlson talking points to me. SIKE. I don't talk to my father anymore. Certainly not since I got this Laptop. Again, one of the main features of this Laptop is that it is a computer you can wear around your house. No phones. Hopefully we all get our comeuppance soon.

The best value for the price. Love the video card RTX2060. My gaming is running very smooth. Maybe need to upgrade the memory to 16GB later.

Runs a bit hot while gaming, battery life is a bit short, but when on sale it was great value for the specs!

Fantastic. Lightweight but a monster. Great cooling!, too! The keyboard colors change so you don’t need to have it look like a taxi cab.

This Asus gamer laptop is amazing! The NVIDIA card make a great performance. The laptop contruction is very tough and look very strong !

Does everything I need and then some. Easy to upgrade hardware and at the price of $800 on sale was the best bang for the buck.

I bought this as AMD is getting better than Intel these days. I bought it for gaming purposes. It turned out that works pretty well.

Runs good and Asus laptop usually have good value this laptop just always decent and thermal is ok but performance is good for the money

After a 2 years used it become kind slow i guess time to get more ram

Really nice laptop for a 800$ can't beat that ,just put a another 8gb stick for dual channel it's easy .
