The laptop looks great and works well. Best bet for the price. Would recommend for others.

Light weight, not heat up over time as the Dell laptop I had. Full keyboard with number keys is convenient. Started to have black screen issue right around 14 day to 1 month period. I was out of town and couldn't bring it back for exchange. So I contacted manufacturer, they told me to send it for repair. I didn't feel $200 laptop worth the hassle and inconvenience for not having a laptop for days or even months. So I didn't do a thing. now it's been 1 month since the last black screen happen, so far so good. Fingers crossed hoping it will never happen again. Other than the black screen issue, I am satisfied with this laptop.

Bought for my son so he'd quit begging to borrow mine. Great lightweight computer. Fast. Thinking about getting one for myself.

This is my first laptop and I must say, though it is not very powerful performance wise, it is a very good laptop. I bought a lenovo B590 for my brother (who practically babies his eletronics) and it started to break down within 2 months (would go into standby mode as if the lid was closed or standby button pressed, I changed the power settings to do nothing when lid was closed and standby pressed but it continued to do the same) I bought this computer as its replacement and he was very satisfied. So I decided to get myself one also. Overall, it is not a gaming PC, but it will work well for internet and school work.

I needed a second Windows laptop and this was perfect for the price. This is my first Windows 8 and it is very easy to get used to. There are many helpful tips for new Windows 8 users. I would highly recommend this computer. I liked it so much I bought one for my grandson!

I got it cheaper than a chromebook. Everything is as described. Great for basic web surfing and light to average computing needs. Was a little disappointed that the system memory of 4gb was the max. Still getting use to windows 8 and not liking many things about it.

For the price, this is a great buy. I'm a Mac guy, and purchased this as a low cost option for my Mother-In-Law who didn't need a "workhorse" nor a high-end box. It fit the bill, and has performed as it should.

This is a great laptop for the price. I bought two! My son uses one for his high school classes. The casing smudges a little but for the price, I can ignore that. It comes with a CD/DVD drive also. I recommend this laptop for general use....Internet , email, etc.

Clear display and works well. It was just what I needed for completing assignments.

Bought for college-bound nephew for a pretty good price. Felt cheap when I was setting it up but he's only using it for writing papers and researching info on the net. Don't expect a Macbook but don't run from the price either. Just know what you're paying for.

This laptop was ready to go almost right out of the box. After only a few minutes of self-programming I was ready to do almost anything I wanted. Skype was ready except for putting my information in. I don't do gaming or anything. I pretty much stick to the basics of web surfing, social media, emails, etc. This computer has decent graphics and good sound, especially for the price. The speed is decent. All of the features need to be evaluated with the price of this laptop in mind. I feel that this computer is awesome for the price. It does everything my more expensive laptop did. I replaced my old laptop just because it was too slow because it was older. This computer is everything I will ever need unless I take up gaming, which will never happen. This computer also setup on my wireless network within about 2 minutes and I am not very "techy". Overall, this computer is a definite winner!

I surf the web, watch movies and use some programs. I am very happy with the ASUS for the price. I just wish it had louder speakers and that they were not on the bottom it. I will have to buy speakers.

Bought as a replacement for an older more expensive laptop. Excellent value for the price. Performance is better than acceptable and the display is sharp. To be used primarily for web surfing, so I can't provide any details on actual application performance.

I bought this item as a gift for my husband's birthday last month. This item has done all that he's needed & then some. I didn't originally plan to buy this brand but felt I should for the price (was running same price as a smaller screen with less gigs).

I absolutely love everything about this computer!! I can't believe they sell it at such a reasonable price I'm beyond impressed!! I had to get used to the windows 8 but it didn't take me long the only thing I would suggest with using the windows 8 version is get a wireless mouse makes life much easier but that's not because of the computer!! I installed Quickbooks on mine and run 4 companies on this computer I'm so impressed!!! Buy it you won't be disappointed!!!

Good product for the price the memory is large enough for the average person not using it for business.

I like the lightweight of the laptop. The speed seems to meet my needs.
