easy to use for the most part. miss the free games like, hearts, solitaire, and pin ball of past windows. too many apps I don't want. but, overall a decent computer. price was right!

Comes with a decent amount of RAM and Hard drive space and the processor is not half bad.

We needed a laptop that had both VGA and HDMI outputs. This was a great low price unit with those features. The only feature that would have been nice is a touch screen (Windows 8).

Bought this laptop for my wife to use. She likes it a lot. Is easy to use. Nice to get a DVD/CD burner and a webcam for this price.

I think that for the money, this was a very good purchase. THis computer does everything that a casual user needs. Not a fan of windows 8, but overall I would purchase this again.

Purchased this for my wife and she loves it. No problems with daily functions; Microsoft Office and social media runs flawlessly.

The notebook works OK, but when I tried to get some help at the store I was told it would cost me an additional $200 ! ALMOST WHAT THE UNIT COST. When I pointed out how recently I had made the purchase the geek told me I was TWO DAYS LATE !?! It really makes me wonder why I bought at BEST BUY an on_line purchase would have probably been a better move for me. I will have to remember this poor service next time.

Got this laptop for school convenience on the go studies,So far so good.The touch pad only needs a light touch.Not heavy at all.Sound Quality and picture graphics very nice.

If you're looking for a computer to use for heavy computing, this is NOT the computer. This computer is very good for beginners. I use the computer for mainly writing papers for school and social media. I occasionally watch movies, play games, etc. Windows 8 is wonderful, and I love it, but it is much easier to use when the computer is touchscreen. If you're looking for a simple computer for simple uses, this one will do it. For more complex things, spend the money to get you a great one that fits your needs. Also the touch pad is kind of hard to get used to. It doesn't have a defined line between the left and right side of the "mouse". And it is hard to scroll.

Love it, we use it for our personal use which includes games, research, and internet surfing. It has a good amount of storage and runs perfectly.. never had any problems.

Great Computer for the price. Speakers are not the best

This is my first time owning a Asus computer; I am a Acer user, but I decided to give this brand a try. I am not disappointed at all. When I turn it on it opens up fast and connects to my internet fast too. I had no problem when installing my software on the computer; everything was fast. I will definitely recommend to a friend.

As an IT guy for over 30 years, I can tell you that this laptop is all most folks need. Gets the job done for few dollars.

I am new to windows 8, so I am still getting used to that. I still am not sure how to set up the new start menu with the items I want and not the windows only products.

Purchased this for my high school junior Who has 3 AP courses this year, a few study groups already going & is preparing for college exams. We wanted something simple but that could handle all her needs. So far it has been perfect!! I couldn't pass it up for $229 price with no taxes...very happy that it has been well worth it!

Very nice computer for a beginning or freshman college student. Easy to use, not expensive and does basic computing work.
