Great laptop that has all the features that I need for school.

I have been using this laptop for a month. Touchpad buttons are a tad bit stiff but It is a great laptop for browsing and streaming online content.

For the price, this is a great laptop. It would be good for students. The mouse takes some getting used to, it's touchy. The screen has nice image.

I have been using this laptop for about a month now. I mainly just email, surf the net and do word docs and excel spreadsheets. This machine suits my needs and I am still amazed by the low price. It is as good as the Dell I replaced at less than half the price. Oh, and I had to call ASUS tech support for a re-start following an update. They were very helpful.

Affordable laptop for word processing, but not for playing DVDs. Seems to run out of memory towards the end and causes the DVD to freeze up.

I am very happy with this laptop. Low price but excellent product. A lot of disk space, and a lot of possibilities with windows 8... Big screen, extended keyboard, very fast to start.

Not for actual typists. Key response too slow, and touching any key can send the cursor flying to who knows where or just disappearing. If you are willing to go very slowly while carefully watching where the cursor is at all times and are willing to start over often (this happened to me five times while just writing this review), you do get a lot for the money. It is not a Sony VAIO by any stretch of the imagination, but neither is the price!

I did not find it complicated.. It has been easy to use..and I am very happy with it.. I already recommended it to my friend.

System has everything that is necessary for normal computing I.e. DVD, adequate ROM, RAM, cam, etc.

Love the laptop. Good value for the money. The only problem is with the power chord. Even though it's plugged in, the battery is going down and the message is "plugged in, not charging" It seems to start charging again at 95%. Not sure if this is typical of this laptop. Getting used to window 8. Speed ok, not super. About what I would expect for a $250.00 laptop.

Its a good basic computer minus the window 8. The celeron processor is bit slow, but unless you are playing games it will do basic computing.

This was great computer for a great price. If you only need to do school work and some videos, then this is the one.

Purchased this laptop when my old one stopped working. I needed something that would me allow me to do the basics...emailing, web browsing etc. It was a little strange using the new operating system but for someone who is not technologically savvy (like me), it was quite easy to use.

This is a decent laptop for anyone not wanting to do serious gaming, or as a small intro to gaming. Otherwise, not the worst I've bought.

Nothing fancy, just a basic laptop, but has a lot of good features. First, it starts up and is ready to use almost instantaneously; can get to doing what you want in a snap of the fingers. And although almost all laptops have webcams nowadays, for the price it is a great feature to have a CD drive, which many at this low a price point do not. Keyboard seems a little "cheap" and too "plastic," but responds well and the letter/numbers/symbols are rather big. Scroll pad a little underwhelming in its reaction time when clicking.

The laptop works better than expected. The price point was a definite selling point and made it well worth it. I recommend it to others.

My 4th grade daughter bought this computer with her own money for school and home. Overall it is a nice computer. I like that it has a DVD player and a great picture. I am not a fan of the mouse buttons/area. The buttons are hard to push but it feels very light so I am afraid I am going to break them if we click too hard. We will get her an external mouse but for the cost, I would have expected it to feel more sturdy.

This is fast and has a good battery time and an excelent sound.
