it is a good entry laptop..short battery life is main drawback

The price for this exceptional laptop was just above $200, I needed a machine to mass produce videos for some SEO work I do on the side. This laptop is fast easy to use, and easily updated. And it looks pretty slick with the carbon fiber look of the top, I named it Zeus*

it is light weight easy to take it with me when needed for class. Would prefer touch screen but I'm happy with my laptop otherwise.

For the price, this laptop is excellent. It is no gaming machine by any means, however it is perfect for basic college needs such as browsing the internet, writing papers, etc. You can't go wrong for the price.

it's a good product to me. I just use it to watch video and surf Internet. It's cheap as a netbook but way better than a netbook.

I have owned this laptop for two years and I would like to give some of my opinions on this product. This is a decent laptop for college students with a budget constraint and it is quite smooth with regular use. Right now my laptop is running the most recent Windows 10 update. Nonetheless, if you want to do gaming and heavy video editing and so on, you need a more powerful one rather than this laptop. It is a very basic machine which is good for study, web surfing and email checking.

I use it mostly for recipes, browsing internet & email and it's perfect for just that. I'm not a fan of Windows 8.1 since this doesn't have a touchscreen... so I've set it up to boot up to the Desktop. I keep this in my kitchen on the counter and don't move it around much...the outer case seems flimsy as well as the keyboard so I don't know how it would hold up in travel. There also are no lights to show if Caps Lock is on and it's definitely slower to download pages but for the price you can't beat it!

This is a pretty good computer for the price of 210 which was awesome cuz I didn't have that much money. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and I have enjoyed using it. I've had it about a month and so far its not had to many problems one of the things Im really not too happy with it is that it leaves the fingerprints on top of the casing and I have to constantly wipe it down. I think this would be a good computer for first time student. I like it and whoever purchase it hope you like it too.

This serves the needs of a student. Only had the laptop for a month but so for it's working. For the price it couldn't be beat.

The Asus laptop is just as advertised and is recommended as a good value. Has a good fast processor especially for the price range. The size is very good as is the weight. The boot time is very fast and the battery though you can't replace it has a good long life.

Inexpensive laptop that is good for the average user to search internet, store music.

Computer is solid. I just use mine for paying bills, etc. maybe a little internet surfing. Works well for that and the price.

My wife and I both have one of these goodies. We use it for email, facebook and to play games. It is so fast, no wait to boot. Game playing at full speed. Greeeat!

We needed an extra lap top at our small business to check emails and fill orders from the web. We don't need this computer to do any heavy lifting. This was an inexpensive option and it is working well.

I bought this item to replace a 12 year old computer. This laptop is a very good product and I have been very happy with all the ways it functions. I would give it a very good recommendation and tell anyone who asks that it is a really good product for the price.

Works well for what i need it for. Using Windows 8 was difficult to get used to but I have managed and don't mind it anymore.
