It was a good choice. First Reason it's a fast laptop, I got impressed cause of the CPU besides been a Celeron it does a pretty decent job. it's not the strong hardware of this PC, but at least it has some improvements. What I like the most is that it has 4BG OF RAM Memory, HARD DRIVE: 500 GB ,(Please to the sellers, this were one of the main reasion for me to purchase this item). you know I could survive with the processor, but for the price having also a CD/DVD . I think it's a decent laptop.

Bought this for my mother-in-law when her old laptop was on its way out. The switch to Windows 8 was a bit of a shock for her, but overall, the laptop does what it needs to (internet browsing and email).

This laptop suits my needs, but that is all I bought it for. The sound quality is not very good. That may have something to do with the speaker being underneath. Once in a while the sound breaks up. I did not expect too much when I bought this laptop, but it does the job. The value is what I expected for the price I paid.

If you want a fairly thin, lightweight laptop for a great price, and don't mind skimping on features. IT'S PROBABLY THE BEST VALUE OUT THERE. I was wanting to send it back when I first got it, because of the short battery life. To get a laptop with a better battery, lighted display and keyboard you would spend twice as much. Overall I'd give it a B- , but I think I'll keep it and accept the flaws.

The new windows was way different from what I previously had, vista is much easier navigate. Ok computer for the price.

The laptop is user friendly to set up and extremely fast on the internet.

I bought this as a gift and my dad really likes it. I was easy to set up and runs smooth. Great laptop for the price.

For the price it is everything I expected. I enjoy Windows 8.1 and everything is so fast and responsive. Occasional freezes in a few apps depending on what you do. For e.g., tried to download Solitaire from the Games shop and it froze. Great otherwise.

I would have liked for it to have had a video player already installed.

This computer has a smaller screen than the one it replaced but I hardly even noticed. It is great for watching shows online and DVDs. The sound is really good too. The only thing I found I didn't like that I thought I would was Windows 8 (but that's been taken care of!)

This computer is reasonably priced; well suited for the basic college student that surfs the web and writes papers.

I bought this laptop for school and it is fast and efficient. The screen has a decent picture. It gets the job done.

The computer is solid, light weight and quick. Windows 8 is a tad confusing at times, but otherwise a good machine.

I was excited to get a new laptop. But didn't want to spend alot on one. Got this at the store for 229. You can't beat the price for this. Does all the stuff you need it for. Down side is that it last 4-5 hours before it needs to be charged again.

I love ASUS. Great computer for the money.Nice screen width and very light.

Startup is super fast compared to my old laptop. Up and ready in a minute. Windows 8 presents everything right at your fingertips. Enough ports to make wired connections when I want then and it comes with a CD drive. Initial startup was a snap with the computer recognizing my Wi-Fi and printer. The only thing left to do is transfer the last of my files and explore Windows 8.

Great price but windows 8 stinks, better off with touch screen with windows 8

This laptop has been very great for me. I am an avid mac user and was a little bit hesitant to switch to windows, so I wanted to not be out a ton of money when I made the switch. This laptop preforms great, its lightweight and pretty durable.

Bought for Masters program. Allows me to do everything I need to do! Can't beat the price! Audio is great also!
