The lightweight and easy to use laptop is great for everyday use for basic needs. Battery life could be better

I was looking for a lightweight, value priced laptop. This one fits the bill!! Fast processor, all the features you need, and a great low price!

Easy setup, haven't had any problems with this laptop. Does its purpose well and is fast with a nice screen.

Am just beginning with an ASUS, and windows 8. So far it has held up to it's bargain for price and usability.

It does everything I need, and does it quickly. It was very smart about configuring itself for home wi-fi use, and it boots up in just a few seconds after shutting down and restarting later. It does have good online documentation for the laptop. Windows 8 wasn't as much of a pain as I'd thought it would be. When going from the Start screen (s/a Start menu in earlier Windows, but using icons), then going to the desktop, I'm right at home with a familiar user interface.

Bought this since my laptop crashed like a year ago and I don't have a need for full laptop, really just need for internet, netflix, and connecting remotely to my work computer. I had a bit of trouble setting it up, but after that all is good. I don't like that it runs apps, and Netflix wouldn't work for me, but I switched to desktop and everything runs great. The touch pad is a bit funny and you kind of have to click it hard, but you get used to it. I think for the cost, this is a great value. I haven't run into any issues, connects to my wifi easily, runs well. If you're looking for a laptop for primarily internet use, I'd highly recommend this.

This is the first Asus I have owned and I am impressed. It is attractive, lightweight and highly functional.

The laptop is made of se rather cheap feeling plastic rather than the normal harder ones. It doesn't effect performance in any way that I have noticed it is just the biggest negative for me. Otherwise it is a solid laptop for very cheap.

This is not top of the line. Not for gamers, but great for day to day use. For the money you can't beat it.

It took me three months to buy this computer. Reading all the reviews. Looking for reason not to buy a this computer. But I'm soooo happy with this purchase. Asus would of gotten 10 star if it was available. Great product for the money.

only thing that sux is the mouse pad and the buttons but u can get a mouse to solve that problem

I purchased this laptop for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Haven't tried it out yet but it seems more than adequate for surfing and word processing. And the price was right and it comes with DVD/CD drive which a lot of others do not

I was only interested in getting online and being able to use Microsoft Office products. It has worked very well for the desires that I needed it for and was also even able to play a few games I had laying around. Very affordable.

My old laptop was from 2009. So this was a good choice for something newer without being too expensive.

I was a bit worried by some of the reviews I read on this, but after having it for a while, I really do enjoy it. For the price I paid, I think this is great. I have issues with the keyboard sometimes, but that seems to be the only issue I have with it. I'm a student, and I mostly use my computer for internet and papers, so not a lot of games. It works out well for my needs, and it wasn't super fancy and didn't have a super fancy price tag.

This computer is not for power users, but for anyone who surfs the internet and uses email this computer is an amazing choice. The price can't be beat, and it seems as I if the quality is adequate. The compact power cable is great.

It's fast and very useful for school. I use it everyday and had no problems with it. Great for anyone to use.

I got this laptop because it was on sale. For only $220! That's a great bargain. But, you get what you pay for. As soon as I turned it on and was doing the set up, it froze. I decided to give it a chance, I used it for a week, but it kept freezing. Not sure if I just got a bad one, but didn't want to take the risk so I returned it and got a different model.
