Perfect size laptop, enough RAM and hard drive. Excellent

This lap top for a student is a great buy. It even comes w/a DVDRW. Most laptops have smaller HD and less memory and no DVDRW. ASUS is a good quality laptop. It only has 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 whee most laptops have 3 or 4. It has lots of Bloatware with it and takes some time to decrapify it. It does have free Mcafee for a year which is nice. Best buy had an open box on its web site and tried to order it but it would not accept the order. I called them and they said it shows it in stock but they could not locate it so they gave a new one unopened for $210 w/free shipping!! Such a deal. Highly recommend this laptop.

It would probably be better if I switch back to windows 7 instead of the 10 it came with. Will probably do so in the near future.

Pretty fast Celeron Processor, Decent Screen. Cannot beat the usefulness for the price. Built by ASUS, the most reliable maker of laptops.

Never heard of brand before but was told they supply parts for name brands. Only use for email and surfing web so far. Very satisfied with it and haven't seen anything advertised this reasonable with equal features anywhere.

Screen is dull, screen freezes frequently, Windows 8 is very unfriendly. Mouse is spastic reacting and the mouse pad is already worn after only couple months (do not use computer daily). Laptop is quite heavy for a 15 inch screen. The computer comes with Windows 8 and that is all! There is no Word, Excel or any other software program on this computer.

This laptop fits my needs perfectly and the price was right.

Works well for what I needed. Need simple PC for work. Can't go wrong with an Asus computer.

To be perfectly honest, this is a Christmas present for my son and I have not set anything up. My husband said it looks good (he's the one who knows computers) and is all our son will need. So, I am using his "authority" to give it points before even turning it on. Just hope if there is something wrong, Best Buy will do the right thing! Good price.

Daughter needed this for highschool, gets the job done. Price is great for a laptop like this one

This is my second purchase. I bought two, one for in July for one child, then returned for a second one for the older. My only complaint is that the power cord is quite cheap and stops functioning on its own. I would have liked to been offered a spare for this eventuality since you have to pay to send it back to ASUS and I'm wondering if buying a new one is cheaper than sending it back to the company for a replacement.

This was purchased to update an older laptop used by a college student who has the need for internet access, and to used the Microsoft Office applications. It also gets its fair share of pumping out tunes. It was easy to set up and load the needed software, and boots up quickly and does what is expected of it. The purchase price was very reasonable.

Work from home and I love this computer. Was a great purchase at a great price.

I've enjoyed learning new skills, they are simple to navigate. Would recommend to anyone wanting to replace their old computer.

The laptop works great for doing simple accounting-like tasks at home on wifi. It's used 3x a week. The only problem I had was a day after first turning it on the computer froze at the windows section and I couldn't do anything. Internet searches kind of made it seem like a windows 8 problem, not an Asus problem. When I called Asus support, they had me reboot the laptop to the original settings and it worked fine.

This is a good basic laptop for home use. It is good for the price. I gifted it to my father.
