It was great for my needs. I write short stories, review cases received by email and manage my emails. Great computer and I really like the size of the screen. The colors are vibrant and it is easy to read. I'm. not the only one who enjoys it. My 24 year old son borrows several times a week. There will be another one purchased by Santa as a surprise. Yes, Santa still visits our home.

I have purchased several laptops over the past 10 years. This one is a great buy. It looks sharp. I like the feel of the keyboard. It doesn't cost much so I'm giving it 5 stars based on value.

I bought this for my niece to use in high school. It was a fantastic value. Based on the previous good reviews, I felt pretty confident of this purchase. According to my niece, the display is very nice but it is very slow to start up (programs loading) and slow to use. It is important to note that in regards to the display, she is not a gamer, just an avid YouTube / Vines watcher.

I replaced my Lenovo netbook with this full-sized laptop. It is a lot faster and the screen is bigger. Battery seems like it lasts forever. It's nice that it does NOT get hot at all on my lap!

I really like the laptop but I'm not real crazy about the Windows 8 version.

I bought it only $229, very good deal, it's easy set up and to use. Everything met my requirements. so convenient to use Window 8.1 functions.

Its a Amazing computer. I do my animations on it and more. Its great for gaming also! I'm a big gamer it works great! The only flaw on it is the camera. It all blury but don't really use it.

It has low memory but I use it primary for school and It was affordable also

It takes getting use to Windows 8.. The mouse pad takes some getting use to.

I love the price and the function! I wish that the start button was on the right instead of the left and that the keyboard was more ergonomic.

great laptop for anyone who prefers non-touchscreen. I needed a basic laptop for online college, and so far, this one is working out just fine. And I didn't have to break the bank to get it.

Overall an excellent value for all you really get. The feel of the keyboard is a little flimsy (it gives or flexes). It does type just fine though and suspect it will be reliable. I would buy another one if restricted to the budget it fits in. No issues to report after a month or so of moderate use

It's not the fastest CPU around, but with 4GB of RAM, Windows 8.1 isn't so bad. The first thing I do with EVERY Windows 8 computer is make sure it has 8.1. Then I install Classic Shell from classicshell.net. After that, it's a Windows 7 computer that also has Windows 8 on it. I sure wish it had touch in this price range, but at least the touchpad mimics most of the gestures.

This laptop is simple to use. Price is great and most of all its lightweight which makes it easy to carry around and the charger size is compact.My teenage daughter wants me to get her one.

bought this as a replacement laptop for husband. Uses it for email and basic websites. Getting used to the Windows 8 display. The touchpad isn't the greatest for the left and right clicks.

I got this on a super one day sale. I had a larger one that was heavy and had about one hour battery life. This one is pounds lighter and has 4 to 5 hours of battery life. Very happy.
