Great beginner laptop

OK for student laptop

It's a little down on CPU power but she just needs it for research and writing papers, not for playing games. Never been a fan of Windows 8 but the multi-touch touchpad make it a bit easier to navigate.

good buy for a good price!

A pc.. this was such a good buy that I decided to take the leap to a laptop. Plus I am learning how to use Windows 8---so I am still in the learning stage. Overall, it has been an easy transition and this was a good decision.

Adequate Computer

It has a slow processor, so expect to wait longer when ripping songs to iTunes, streaming videos, etc. Also, it has a cheap plastic feel. But it's adequate for web browsing and word processing. Audio quality is decent. So I recommend it, but not enthusiastically.

Very good performance for a very low price

It took all my loaded software, including MS office professional, and performed very well for not have a high speed processor. I bought this laptop just to play around with Windows 8.1 and use on vacation trips. I find Windows 8.1 to be a great improvement over initial ver 8. Since I can make it look and operate very close to Windows 7, I'm a happy camper. I only use mice with laptops, so have not tested the touch pad, but the touch pad delay parameters are adjustable so palm of your hand doesn't cause cursor movement.
