It is a really decent laptop for the price. Good for basic function like web browsing and email, as well as word documents. It comes with Windows 8 which is annoying. If you are one that likes Windows 8, then you would be ok.

The computer is a good. It works well and does it job. Has problems with some applications and I hate how the new windows software often flips to other programs too easily and I have to go back to what I was looking at.

I bought this for a family member for general email, web, word processing. It works well for that. The Celeron processor does run Windows 8 slowly, but you get what you pay for. Overall i am pleased with the laptop.

This is a great little computer for a moderately priced laptop. I do wish the computer would start with the keypad activated.

I bought this laptop for my little brother and he is really enjoying it playing minimal games like minecraft and school programs. Its not able to play high tech games like call of duty but that is fine we have a ps4

Good, reliable laptop. My only complaint would be I don't like Windows 8. I still use 7 at work.

Really inexpensive and reasonably fast. Keyboard and pad have a cheap feel but this is a VERY cheap machine. Fine for what I paid

We only needed a computer for small internet searches and typing small letters. Works great for the small projects.

The Asus laptop is easy to use and the size is acceptable. The use of the mouse is a little louder than I expected to hear.

Bought this laptop for my wife for her return to college. Not a big fan of Windows 8.1, however it runs well on this laptop.

I could have gotten great deals on other computers, but I fought against Windows 8. So finding out that Windows 8 is hardly any different than Windows 7 made me me mad I got this computer. My opinion has always been Asus makes a cheap product. The keys are flimsy; I always use a wireless mouse, so I would suggest that. The computer is substantial & has a nice screen, but I am being delicate with it as I am very hard on laptops. I have a low end Lenovo that is almost gone from over heating & this machine is not much faster. Videos won't play & it is already over heating as the fan comes on. The audio is OK, not as good as Lenovo, but way better than HP. Since I know how hard I am on computers & how cheap this computer is, it will probably last a year.
