I brought this laptop knowing that it was windows 8. Downgraded it to windows 7 and the transition was smooth.

The unit was as listed, The price was right, in store pick up was great, for me and my schedule. (only glitch so far was the "Black-Screen") is fix.......

I have owned my computer for 2 months or so now. It is running great, and is perfect for my needs. Very happy.

We were looking for a cheap laptop for college and this was our choice. I believe most people buy more computer than they need. All we needed was a way to take notes in lectures and this is ideal. Student has a desktop for gaming and everything else. The video card in this laptop is not good enough for games, but it is fine for watching videos and live streaming tv.

Bought this for my wife to use. She has no more problems with this than she would any other computer.

This laptop is great for practical everyday use! It has great battery life. With a sleek slim design and up to date software. It is a great buy for a kid who has school work to do on the computer.

Value at its best! Don't expect lightning speed or massive processing capability. However, for everyday computing (internet, email, light productivity software) it's is a very Big Bang for the buck! Sometimes you get a little more than you pay for!

I needed a new Laptop to replace my eMachine with a cracked screen. I found that the Bass output on the Asus won't even drive my Amplifier enough to get a good heavy bass sound out. I use this Laptop strictly for Square Dance calling and teaching.

I chose this laptop because of price and thought it was touch screen. But, it is not touch screen. Therefore disappointed. And, saw it for $120 less at Black Thursday/Friday sale. Bummed.

Much better all around than my previous computer that was similar in price .For the price this is an excellent buy. A suggestion might be to include specific instructions for us not so computer literate-- although I've been able to work through most things including Windows 8. This is an excellent computer for the price and for medium users like me

This laptop is very resourceful, works well and isn't as heavy as most other laptops. It does not have a very long battery life which is a disadvantage. Overall it is a good product.
