A great reasonably priced laptop for basic computing needs such as word processing and web surfing

I am surprised at how much i like this lap top.. I am still getting use to Windows 8 but other than that, it is a good laptop for regular use.. I don't do anything special on it except online online schooling. ONe thing I dont like is that there are no light to indicate whether cap lock or num lock is on or off.. So putting in passwords and such is sometimes a hassle. Other ppl say it's nice also. I had it for about 3 months.

ASUS has a good reputation for computer hardware. I saw this ASUS laptop at an excellent price and I knew it was worth it. The laptop has performed well and comes with 4 GB RAM.

Best Buy is the store that has the better prices on the United States of America, good for you.

I like this laptop, especially for the price and the fact that it has Windows 8 on it. It's very handy for the purposes of learning how 8 operates. Buying this laptop made it convenient to have one for all the members of my family.

Great price! Great for online computer needs i.e. banking, research, videos, etc. and School projects. Will need Microsoft Office and a good antivirus. USB mouse, External speaks and external multi port USB attachments will help.

My wife has put up with a troublesome pc for a long time. She is in heaven now! It is fast, runs well, and she is now getting use to windows 8. Overall she loves it and rates it at a 5+ star. For the money spent it is a very good deal. This has been a good month as she has been able to do everything she wants to do on her new computer.

Really minimal bad things about this computer. So far very easy for my daughter to use with most of her homework being online. Just can't seem to get the DVD player to work.

2,4,6,8 win8.1 is not so great. Great price on the laptop to make it heaven just install Win7.

This is an excellent affordable laptop for someone just looking to do simple things such as internet and social media.

We bought this as a second computer for kid's homework. It's plenty fast/responsive - we haven't loaded much software on this since the homework is done online. It is not a touchscreen, but that isn't necessary on a laptop.
