Great labtop from ASUS with price you cannot beat!

Has a bit of a cheap feel, and the date keeps going wrong, but functional for the money. Not great for long streaming with Netflix on vaca, but no major complaints.

Laptop is very lite and perfect for what I needed.

UPSIDE: Plug and play with HDMI outlet . Very fast download and upload speeds. Thin and lightweight. Easy to haul from room to room. Quiet and doesn't vent hot air. Battery life has been three plus hours. DOWNSIDE: I don't like the way that the computer opens or starts up. I want to drive the search from a start up page that is not cluttered with offers and ads and video game downloads. I also want to choose my own default search engine instead of having to circumvent Internet Explorer.

Considering it is lower end, it gets the job done.

couple minor things no cap lock or num lock indicators, only 2 usb ports. other than those minor things i love this lap top. very thin design so far very durable

This laptop is okay for the price. It does not have a scroll on the mouse pad and I seem to type faster than the computer can process on the screen. Opening files and upload screens work just fine until a series of windows updates that seem to slow the computer down as if it operates on dial-up for everything. Overall, it gets the job done. but, due to windows updates, its very slow.

I just bought this laptop for my accounting course work and it's met all my needs.

I was looking for an inexpensive replacement to my broken computer. For the price, I have happy with my purchase.

This is an excellent laptop for a college student, came with trend micro security usable on multiple devices, has a camera and a lots of programs that are very helpful for writing papers and doing research. It was also easy to connect to printer

Computer very good for price. Remember to purchase security, the pop ups will continue even when turned off. Meets all basic needs, internet use, schooling.

I had never bought an Asus before, never really consider them to tell the truth. I took a chance on it, and boy am I glad that I did. Incredible performance so far. Love the big keyboard, and excellent display. Worth every penny and then some!

I bought this laptop for my Mother and Father as a gift and they love it to death. The laptop is perfect for everyday internet surfing, facebook, editing photos and dad playing light games (candy crush, asphalt 8, ECT...) Overall been the best little laptop that fulfills all their needs at the age of 50+.

Not thrilled with Windows 8 but regarding the laptop the only downside is 2 USB ports. Really needs a third.

I bought this laptop when my old on black screened on me. I looked online at best buy and saw the asus, after checking multiple reviews I decided that this was the machine for me. It required very little setup and has worked great so far

I use this laptop for school only and have no issues.
