I'll high recommend it to any person who really wants a good laptop. It serves a great deal and saves you the embarrashment of slow internet connection.

Bought this for my child for school. She can do research and type reports on her own and not have to use our computer! Don't need it for more than internet and homework so it was great for us.

Great for everyday activities but not gaming - wish it also had one more usb port.

This review may be pointless, as I see that the 'online supply is out-of-stock'. Still, I'm so pleased with the price and the quality that I shall go ahead with the review. I would have given 5 stars, but I've only had it a few days, and because there is one glitchy feature. Even a light touch on the pad while typing, sends the cursor skittering elsewhere. Other than that, it's a great machine for less than $200. The goal when I chose to buy this laptop was to wipe it and install Linux Mint. I had to change settings in the BIOS, eliminate my password, and after that the install was finally successful. Now I have a very fast machine, running multiple browsers and tasks, with no strain at all on this system. What a great purchase! And it would probably be a good computer for users wishing to do the basics, even if they kept Windows. That's what many other users stated in their reviews.

My new Asus laptop is great. I'm not a gamer or a computer expert, so this fulfills all my computing needs. If you're looking for a basic machine to surf the web, this Asus is for you.

The battery last a good bit of time. It's light weight. Only down side is it takes a little while to boot up.
